Awesome graphics, great story, amazing battle scenes

Final Fantasy VII shaped me as a youngster growing up. The remake that we have waited over 20 years for finally arrived and it certainly did not dissapoint. While there were some changes to the battle system, they did a masterful job of staying true to the essence of the original game from 1997. I would recommend this 40+ hour long journey!

Truly an amazing game that remakes the feeling of the original. Be aware, the game is only Midgar, but has expanded said section with a hard mode and a bit of replay value. I did not think I would have as much fun with it as I am having. Best Buy did take a little over a week to get me my preorder bonus though, which was slightly annoying.

One of my favorite FF games on PS One now revised, gameplay and fighting mechanics are great and straight forward, no combo of 15 buttons to do one move. the story line sticks to the original with some minor changes.

After being worried about remaking such an important game, I can say that it is different, but that's OK. The same elements that made the original so incredible are still here, and they've been fleshed out. This is only the first part of the game, but it's off to a great start. It's also one of the best looking games I've seen.

Graphics will blow you away along with a great story.

Loved playing this game. The original FFVII has been one of my favorite games since it's release. This new remake has updated everything about it while still holding true to the essence of the original. Absolutely worth the hours you'll spend playing it.

Great remake to an excellent game, awesome graphics

Have you ever wondered what happened between Cloud and Avalanche during their time together? Look no further! The game hits all the main story points from the original but also goes in depth to explain and develop the Avalanche team much further than the original. Combat is similar to FF15 which is nothing short of amazing!

What can I say? We got a remake! It is absolutely amazing! I am a long time Final Fantasy fan and it was truly amazing how they both kept aspects of the original yet also made it a completely new experience as well. If you are new to Final Fantasy, no worries. Just consider this a new gaming experience you won't forget :)

I played this game to 100% and I can say I had great fun with it. For fans of the original, you'll love the new fleshed out Midgar that has been re-created and the best scenes from the old game are better in this one. For new fans, this is a great starting point if you didn't play the original or never played FF before.

Great game so far after waiting all these years to finally have a remake of FF7. Graphics are awesome and game play is quite unique. This game is really bringing back a lot of memories from 1997. It was tough finding a physical copy at first, but Best Buy came through. I highly recommend this game if you like RPG's.
