This has to be one of my favorite games I have played in the past year. I played it before the PS5 upgrade and then again after the upgrade and each time, I was blown away by how good it looks and fluid the gameplay is.

I’ve been keeping my eye out on this game for a very long time and it’s definitely worth the wait. The game And the fight style is amazing, so far I put 20+ plus hours. The story will get you hooked whether you played the original or not. Highly recommend!

Whether you played the original back in the day or not, this is a fantastic game worthy of all the hype. Absolutely beautiful and enjoyable start to finish. To those complaining it’s only the first part of the original game, it’s still over 40 hours long.

After such a long wait I still can’t believe it’s finally here! I loved almost everything about this game from start to finish. I absolutely recommend this game whether you’re a fan of the original or new to the game. You’ll have a great time either way!

Big fan of the series. I played the original, this has much better graphics though I still prefer turn base. That being said this has a lot better gameplay than I expected from the videos. It's pretty smooth and much better than some.

Wow, what a game. I loved playing this game as a kid but going through this with new graphics is just awesome. I highly recommend it. It is really one of the best games that have ever been made. Granted, I am not a RPG fan but it is a wonderful game.

If I could give this 4.5 stars I would but I think 5 more accurately says it than 4. A stunning, ambitious reimagining of a timeless classic with some very minor technical issues such as pop-in and load times on a base PS4. A great time for RPG fans.

It feels like the original from 1997. The characters are deeper, the music feels like when you were a kid. It has an innovative combat system. It lives up to the hype; it is all midgar but it is 70+ hours of game play. It is a masterpiece reborn!

I never played the original FFVII game before so going in, I wasnt sure what to expect. I played the demo and immediately pre-ordered this game. It looks beautiful and the gameplay is very engaging. A lot of care went into the development of this game.

Graphics are insane ! I haven’t played FF in years and I recently purchased this one and was mind blown. I dunno if it was a combination of tv and the graphics but it was amazing. Have played it constantly and can’t get enough.

Final Fantasy is Squares Magnus Opus and if this is an attempt at a true reimagining then I can't wait for what's to come plus the graphics (aside from a few load ins and textures) are astounding voice acting is also pretty good so it's a definite buy.

This is how a remake is done! For new players it is an amazing entry in this series, for those that have played the original for thousands of hours it feels like a whole new adventure with an old friend. From graphics to gameplay it doesn't disappoint.

I enjoyed the new look and the different types of way you can do combat. Some people aren't going to like the story changes but if you played the original you know that they wanted to expand on tons of stuff but just didn't have the time/disc space.

A huge glow-up of a remake to the original FF7. It’s a shame that so little of the story was covered here, but what is included is expanded and fleshed-out to the utmost degree. Huge recommendation for fans and newbies alike.

Even if you haven't played the original game on the first Playstation this game would still be amazing. I was a huge fan of the original and it's amazing to see the characters come to life in the remake. Can't wait to see what they do for part 2.

I will say this. This is the beat remake I have ever played. The game is so beautiful that it made me tear up inside. There is some difficulty if you are new but you'll get better over time. Anyone that is interested in RPGs should try this game.

Went into this game a bit weary, but ended up living the new style of combat. Thought it would be like FFXV’s combat but it was so much better. Very tactical and engaging. The end simply blew me away as well! Highly recommend for an old FFVII fan.

Fantastic remake of a classic game. Updated visuals and story are great, and the new action fight mechanics work well. The only bummer is it's only the first part, but the good news is there will be more to come (eventually...).

I originally played this on the 1st playstation when it first came out. Really enjoyed the remake. It does have differences from the original but it does have a great story and is very enjoyable. Cannot wait for the 2nd part

This game is the same and yet different from the original. You will brought back to the first time you ever played this game and yet still.have an amazing experience with the fighting mechanics like FF7 crisis core...you will not be disappointed.
