Best game I have played all year. Love the add ons they did (if you played the original). Fighting can be a little tough at first but once you get used to it it can be a lot of fun

Party member AI is brainless, dungeons are 1hr long slogs, and there is little to no exploration. The story, characters, boss fights, and graphics are great. So overall an average game. I would say $30 is a good price for it. If you want something better buy Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition instead, it’s a fantastic game.

Awesome remake of a classic

The battle system is great and the fleshing out of the main characters was awesome. I am really looking forward to what they continue to do with this story arc.

Im new to the FF community, but i can safely say that this is one of the best games that ive ever played!

This one stood out amongst the rest because of its nice graphics and great gameplay. If only the PS5 could boost the FPS I get in it right now, I would definitely buy it.

Enough nostalgia for people that loved the original but definitely a unique experience. Definitely recommend this game for any fans of the original or even a newcomer to the series. Can't wait for part 2.

They have played the final fantasy games since the playstation 1 came out. They like that they are remaking and updating the older versions and rereleasing them

Graphics are incredible and gameplay too. They have slightly change the story to keep it new but not losing the escence. I've been playing it all weekend.

Awesome game for old school and new comers

Nostalgia set in and I couldn't put the controller down. For new comers, I think it's a great action rpg to start with.

Even tho the story only covers up to the party’s departure from Midgar it has been fleshed out and feels complete.

Great combat system & storytelling. My one gripe would be the camera options. It gets a little confusing at times. You will not regret buying this game.

A must buy for RPG fans. Only issue Im really seeing is some terrible low resolution textures in the 3rd chapter. Hoping it gets patched soon.

Not as open as some of the other ones, it’s more like kingdom hearts. I don’t play games much any more, but got sucked into this one.

It's not exactly like the original, but it was so much fun that I welcomed it with open arms. If you're into JRPG's, buy it and complete it

Visually marvelous, great strategies and battles. This game has been a life saver during the quarantine. I recommend it highly.

I loved the original, even replayed it ahead of the remake, such a good take on Midgar, Cloud, Tifa, Barrett, Aerith/Aeris and all the rest!

I highly recommend it. The game play is a bit awkward at first but you will quickly become used to it. The game is beautiful on 4K UHD tv!

A lot of aspect really made this game the best one I have in my small PS4 games collection. The redesign, the retelling and the new combat system makes it feel nostalgic and fresh at the same time
