Its the remake, combat is pretty decent, the dialog is meh. Music is AWESOME though.

Final Fantasy VII remake is an excellent game. Exactly the game I was expecting when I heard they were doing a remake. To remember the original final fantasy and to see this one is like night and day!

Besides the nostalgia the rework is amazing but leaves you with that old familiar feeling. I played the original when it came out and this is a super refreshing coat of paint on a classic.

This is an incredible remake of the original PS game. The graphics and playability are honestly, off the charts. It is more like interacting in a movie than playing a normal video game.

Great game! Brings back memories if you played the original but with obviously much better graphics. Same great gameplay but with some of the best graphics of any game out there. I mean what else is there to say.

Nostalgia struck and I had to buy this game on launch. While this first part only covers the first 8 hours or so of the original game I easily put close to 30 hours into the game and still have more to complete.

I’m so glad a friend recommended this game to me. The combat system takes some time adjusting but once you learn it, the game becomes so amazing. It’s action packed and story filled. #mustplay

The original is what got me into Playstation and this remake does not disappoint. Great graphics and story-I prefer the originals turn based combat but got used to this game's action style.

The original is one of my favorite FF games of all time, and this remake, while not an exact port of the original, it still hold the escense of the original and seeing it on HD just brought tears to my eyes

I loved FF VII when it first came out, and the graphic upgrade is beautiful. I am looking forward to be diving into the story again. If your a fan of RPG games and Final Fantasy, definitely the game to grab.

Best fun I've had in a long time and it was great to travel down memory lane. First game I have ever completely gotten a Platinum on and still go back to play a little bit once in a while.

I grew up with this game during the original playstation years and I had my doubts at first when it comes to remaking a game from the past. But this game turned out great

This maybe only 20 percent of Final Fantasy 7 story but they totally knocked this out of park that it felt like a new journey and kept the nostalgia of disc 1 from the first generation Playstation version.

Almost like a cinematic experience - I really like to play with the surround sound and listen to the cut scenes. The play style is largely similar to recent Final Fanatasy releases with some added tweaks. Three different “game modes” allow the player to try different battle skill levels. This is a game that I never played but several in my house has. I have always heard about it so this release is something exciting for our household to experience for the first time and play together. It is largely 1P but we just trade off the controller every 10/15 minutes, granted we are adults lol. The sound and the amazing graphics make it pretty obvious this is an exciting and thoughtful endeavor full of hidden gems.

A great remake for all gamers. This game has hours and hours of fun packed into it. Square-Enix modernized this classic and did a great job. I see some areas that could be better, but it’s a great game!

My husband was brown away by this remake and had tons of fun reliving his childhood. I’ve never played FF as a kid and I still had fun watching him play and was just as engrossed in the story!
