It's been 20+ years and they finally released the remake! Awesome game, for vets and newcomers alike. You'll love the characters, story, combat system, and music. Can't recommend it enough!

Although this is only part of the original story. This is far more enjoyable to play. It also has one of the best graphical cutscenes I’ve ever seen, far better than any animated move too.

I was immersed into the original FF7 and played it for hours on end. The remake did the original justice and the new graphics and gameplay updates are fantastic! A thrill for any FF7 fan!

Final Fantasy 7 Remake is a great reimagination of the original Final Fantasy 7. One Winged Angel ( Sephiroth’s OST ) is one of the best music I’ve heard in a video game.

I did not become a Final Fantasy fan until after this original game. The battle system is better than the turn based system I would have like more opportunities for farming XP

Awesome game. Great game play. Went faster than I would have liked. Used to be many more battles to build up your character. However that aside, Awesome game play. Really Fun to Play!

FF7 was one of the few games that I actually finished when I was a kid. So I was thrilled when I heard that they were coming out with a remake. I thought this would be a great way to relive a childhood memory and show my kids one of my all-time favorite games. Watching the game intro and then seeing the updated graphics was awesome. But then I started playing the game. Something did not feel right. Gone is the turn-base combat! In its place was real-time action. Why did they not include a turn base mode for people who grew up playing the original? Turn-base combat offered strategy knowing that the wrong choice can turn the tide of the conflict. I tried to give the game a chance but quit after playing another 20 minutes. Very disappointing. I still gave it 3 stars for the graphics and production value. People who have not played the original will probably like the remake since they having nothing to compare it with.

Love this remake. Graphics are awesome. Gameplay is awesome. Characters are awesome. Final say ....... It's totally Awesome!!!! Love the old Final Fantasies.

I didn’t play the original FFVII but fell in love with this remaster. The combat is smooth and a lot of fun. For my first FF game, it makes me want to buy other ones as well.

This is an incredible remake of a classic game. The changes in game play mechanics make the game feel like a new experience. The graphics and soundtrack are great.

While the modern take on the classic gameplay, and high quality visuals of this game make final fantasy VII remake suit the tastes of a more modern audience, it’s tone and storyline vary from the original to an extent where it becomes obvious that it seems as if this remake is an interpretation of the original versus a mere translation of it into the modern age.

I think this game is living up to the hype. The gameplay is great and it has amazing graphics. I would definitely recommend this game for all those whole played the original FF7.

I didn't play this back in the 90's when released as I wasn't a fan of those type of RPG's. That being said, this remake is WAY beyond what the original was. I highly recommend it!

Bought the game on nostalgia factor. I realize now I probably didn't absorb the original story past wall market as is, given I likely played through that as a kid the most and forgot about it. Love the soundtrack! Not the biggest fan of the combat system, at least in some of the more intense fights. Also, I'm still expecting my $10 gift card :) Thanks Best Buy!

An amazing game, with a super fun combat system. I thought the changes and additions that were not part of the original were hit or miss, but I am eagerly anticipating part 2!!

Delivery came on time and the packaging was nice and tight. Recently started playing the game and it is extraordinarily beautiful. Gameplay is nice and the soundtrack is amazing.

The look of this game is outstanding. Square Enix did an amazing job of recreating the game from its original. It’s a new adaptation that’s refreshing and exciting.

But I already wrote a review for this... The game is fun and sets off a lot of nostalgia. Beautiful scenery. Frustrating at times. You can go so quickly from battles with no challenge at all to being overwhelmed and having to restart. I had forgotten how frustrating it is to be put to sleep and then attacked repeatedly while unable to do anything about it.

I don't think theirs enough side quests but the side quests in the game effect how the story pans out for great replay value. I loved this game and I believe it made me came lol

I love this game. Final Fantasy VII is what got me to buy a Playstation in the first place and I really love this remake. I just wish it wasn't the first part of the whole saga.
