The original is one of my favorite games of all time. Going into this I was very skeptical but I was amazed. Gameplay is top notch

Pros: Graphics, Nostalgia, Battle System Cons: It isn't the full game as this is only the first installment. Gameplay is fairly linear.

Wow, I played the original about a year ago. This is awesome, for any fan old or new. Jump on this, what a price of art. You will enjoy!

I played the original back in '97/'98, but will admit that my brain may have been to young to comprehend most of what was going on. Regardless, I was a long-time RPG fan, so I played up until the last character was recruited and then abruptly stopped. However, with the Remake, I cannot put it down! It's truly incredible. My first play-through clocked in at 42 hours, and I am now going through the Hard play-through with over 60 hours played. Well worth the money. Really looking forward to the next part (please come soon)!

Great game, excellent graphics and storyline. The controls are fluid and responsive. Definitely recommend to buy.

Different style of play but still follows the original storyline and characters. Very well done! And this was only the first part.

This feels like a brand new game, The graphics are amazing, Very updated with modern gameplay and more cinematic than the old version.

This remake exceeded my expectations and delivered outstanding gameplay mechanics as well as the visuals/cutscenes that were remade!

I bought a PS4 just to play this, and it did not disappoint. The heart of the original is all here, and the new game play is a blast.

If your a fan of final fantasy series, then most of us agree final fantasy 7 is one of the best final fantasy games out there. This brings back childhood memories when this game first game out back in 1997. It was truly a masterpiece during its time with beautiful story line and graphics at its time along with some of the best final fantasy music ever produced. Fast forward now 23 years and a remake has been done to one of the best RPG games ever produced by square. This game is truly a once in a life time experience.

Great remake to the original that I loved as a kid. I put 70 hours into this game before beating it but there’s plenty left to do.

For what it is worth, this game is fun! Not quite a remake but a continuation and retelling. Cant wait for the next installment

I waited so long for this game and it was well worth the wait. Could not stop playing, reminded me of back in the day excitement as a kid. Played as much as possible for 5 days straight and completed the game. Had a sad empty feeling when it was over and appreciated every second of play. Currently replaying the game in the hardest level possible, enjoying it as much as the first time around. Love the challenge and looking forward to next game release. Too bad it’s no time soon but I’m sure it will be worth the wait!

Loved playing this Remake, reminded me of my childhood while i was playing through and but the graphics kept me grounded in 2020

I’m about 12 hours into the game and love it so far. Graphics are amazing and love seeing the same characters all these years later.

This game blew me away from open to close! So much nostalgia at play here! Can't wait for the next "part" to release!
