A Classic Made Better

However, Square Enix kept true to the original game and story and overlayed an exciting action combat system on top of it. I beat it once and will play through it again to unlock all the secrets.

FF7, the way it should be

If you played Ff7 before, this is a must have. Great nostalgia with updated mechanics and graphics. If you are new to the Ff7 world, this is a great place to start. The production value is very high and the storyline is as good as the first time the game was released. Highly recommended for Rpg fans.

If you want a game that has a solid story buy it. I cannot stress this enough. The game is really well made and plays amazing. Load times are quick on my PS4 Slim. The game comes with a install disk and play disk. Also has a really nice reversible cover.

Crazy good

This game is soooooo good. It's a modern take on one of the best games ever. It keeps all of the nostalgic moments but more polished and fresh. Highly addictive... can't wait to play the other chapters!

Good game

Owned for 8 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It's been several months now, and I still haven't gotten to beating the game, but I'm about 13 hours in and have reached Wall Market (exploring every nook and cranny). The female characters' movements and enthusiasm vs. the attitude and ignorance of Cloud is funny and annoying at the same time. The developers did an overall good job expanding the Midgar section of the original game, but some of it comes off as time-wasting filler. I play the game in 1 hour doses most of the time. Combat is good. Graphics amazing. Story undetermined.
