Fantastic reimagining of a video game classic. This was one of the be all, end all games of its generation. While they made drastic changes to the gameplay at its cord it still feels like the original game. Recommended for any fans of jrpgs, wonderful adventures.

What an amazing game! I had played this as a kid and enjoyed the original storyline. This stays very true to the original but with the most amazing graphics, amazing cut scenes, and a storyline that anyone will enjoy. I cannot wait for the second installment!

The fights are just gorgeous! That's what kept me coming back for more. I typically like more decision and consequence in my RPG's, but this story is very interesting if not a bit confusing for someone coming in cold like myself. I finished it nonetheless. Recommended.

The gameplay is outstanding, the story is familiar but new at the same time, and the overall experience is extremely engaging. There was one thing that bothered me quite a bit though and that is the random low res textures. I played it on a regular PS4 and while most of the game looked fine, I frequently noticed part of the background or a NPC's skin or clothes that were plagued by very low resolution textures. I still loved the game but I really wish they had patched that out on day 1, it distracted from the overall experience.

No game has given me the happiness and nostalgic feeling quite like FF VII Remake. This is by far the best game I played all year. I may be biased as this is the game that launched my love for RPG's as a child, but I can't imagine it gets better than this!

I was 10 years old when the original came out but this is a completely different game. The gameplay is exciting and really fun. The story has a nostalgic feel but with huge differences from the original making me want to go back and replay it also. I highly recommend this game

I personally bought his for my boyfriend and ended up watching him play halfway through the game, love the graphics and so far so good.

Been waiting for this game for long time. Graphics are amazing and it looks good in my 4k tv. Hope they make sequels.

Such a great and wild ride re-experiencing the Midgar portion of Final Fantasy 7 in such incredible depth. There's a reason it's called "Remake" and not "Part I". I can't wait for what will follow this one. Some hate the twist they've added to this experience, but I love it.

I really enjoyed ff7 remake, but was quite disapointed to find out afterwards that the game was only a small portion of the original ff7. After playing it again a few times, i think $60 for this experience was worth it and i will probably get the future parts as well.

Wow, this game completely impressed me. I'm a long time fan of Final Fantasy, and 7 is my favorite one. I was afraid of the Remake, but Square-Enix did not disappoint me. Just play the game, finish it and trust me you are going to be left wanting the second game already.

It's been a long twelve years since this remake was first announced, and now that it's here, it's not even the whole game? Frustrating, and may be enough to deter some, but once you start playing, you'll see that they have expanded the story to flesh out not just Cloud, Tifa, and Barrett, but the other members of Avalanche, and the very city of Midgar, really bringing the world of one of the most celebrated JRPGs of all time to life. If you were a fan of Final Fantasy VII on PlayStation 1, this remake is well worth your time.

I remember playing the ps1 game over 20 years ago. It was my favorite game. I love what they did to the game. Fighting style is different but fun. Looking forward to parts 2 and 3. Only thing I didn't like was I never got my dlc codes from bestbuy for preordering.

The game has amazing graphics and it fun to play. It’s nothing like the original FF7, so if your looking for same game your gonna be disappointed. Overall it different but great game to play. The fighting mechanics is going may be tough at first but you will get use to it.

It's dream comes true to get a chance to play the remake version of ff7. The familiar music, familiar characters but with upgraded graphic and slightly different plot than original. Overall totally worth to play no matter if u played the original or not.

I was super excited for FF7R coming up to launch, despite not playing much of the original. And although there’s some controversy surrounding their choices with this game’s ending, I’m super content with the game and looking forward to the remaining parts of the series!

Love the original and the remake is just amazing, brings back memories from playing before with amazing graphics and additional content. Only draw back is it's just part one but still got over 40 hours of game play which was about what the entire original game was.

This game was a blast to play through. I was not a fan of its combat system in the beginning. But it did grow on me. It was a refreshing twist based on something that holds fond childhood memories. Can’t wait for the part II.
