The original is one of my favorite games of all time and the remake has not disappointed. There are some changes to get used to but everything has been ramped up to 11 and the charm and story of the original are still there. Highly recommended!

The final fantasy remake is just about the perfect action RPG would give it a 5/5 it the side quest was better.

This game did an amazing job at replicating the beginning of the original Final Fantasy VII! It not only was spot on to the original, but it also added much more attachment to the characters. Overall excellant! I can't wait for the next part.

I had a fun experience with the game! I went through the original Final Final 7 and this game has some differences but not entirely too bad. The ending is pretty controversial but I won't spoil it for you! Have to play it yourself to see!

The game takes a lot of the original story, updates it, and adds in the fresh mordern take on RPG's to include more action and agency from players. Definitely fun from anyone who played the original, or is entirely new to the game.

An amazing game that does tribute to the parts of the original that it covers, it only kind of trips over its own feet at the end, but the ride up to that point is well worth the price of entry.

I'm sure everyone playing this remembers the PS1 classic that is FF7. While this game is not the whole game - It still brings back many fond memories of the late 90s. 5/5 would recommend for any FF7 fan.

If you played the original FF7 on PlayStation or PC (I did both), then the nostalgic value is immeasurable. The game is incredibly immersive, and expands upon the story of the original, without being repetitive. Phenomenal.

Well it is if you were a huge fan of the original that came out in 1997. The overall story is deeper, the characters are rendered beautifully, and are much more in depth. My only complaint is this is only the beginning of the story.

This game has taken me off my feet from how beautiful the game is displayed to the storyline and how long and joyful this game is. This game has brought me so many different feelings and enjoyed every single hour put into this game.

This game is fantastic; it's more than just a remake of the classic FF7. It's an immersive experience and helps you appreciate not just Cloud Strife, but many of the side characters you meet along the way as well.

The game runs very on my PlayStation and I have the original PS4 from launch date. Another thing I would like to point out is that FF7 remake music and battle system is great and story is so good, I cannot recommend this game enough.

So I have a seventh month old and found little free time to play this game. I am super excited for it in the first hour of the game has been great so far. Looking to finish it off and then I will eagerly anticipate the next episode.

Great storyline but the facial expressions of characters aren’t that real as compared to big budget games.

This game is fantastic. Additional content to flesh out the world of this classic. The change from a turn-based to real-time combat is jarring at first, but it feels great once you have the hang of it. Can't wait for the next part!

Play this after you have finished the original FF7, this isn't a retelling of the original story, there have been many changes but if you are familiar with the original and go into this expecting changes you will have a good time.

I played the original FF7 back on the PS1 when I was a kid. Like many back then, I loved the story and the characters. This remake is stunning to look at, outside of a few odd skyboxes choices. Some of the new content I really liked because it fleshed out characters. A lot of things just felt kind of tedious and drawn out though. I'll have to give it another chance in the future and see if I have a better experience with tempered expectations.

3 hours in the PS1 game = 30 hours in the remake. It’s so immersive, previous side characters are fleshed out & the story deviates slightly, making this a great purchase for those who love the original, & newbies.

This game is better than the original on every way. Expanded storylines to dive into to get a deeper understanding of each character. This game is a must have for previous Final Fantasy lovers and gamers alike.

This game is amazing and if you're a fan of the original. This remake is a delight and it's amazing how the developers was able to make the first section of the game this long. Can't wait when they release the next section. A+
