Bought this for my boyfriend for his birthday. He had been hoping they’d remake this game since we first met 10 years ago. He absolutely loves it and the game is visually stunning. He says it beyond exceeded his expectations.

Awesome game that combines the memories of the original with enough new stories to still make it feel like a new game. Updated active battle system though you can still play with the old turn based system. Just great overall!

Still not completely finished with the game, I know this is the best Final Fantasy out there. Play time is over 45 hours and have completed most of the side quests. If you’re on the edge of deciding to buy or not, I say yes!

I wont give spoilers. This game is a joy to play for anyone who grew up with the original. It takes an interesting spin on the story and brings all the old locations to life.

I never played the original Final Fantasy 7, so this was a completely new experience for me and it was wonderful. Only issue I've had with the gameplay is that dodge rolling seems useless for action oriented the combat is.

The only thing I wish... is that it followed the old classic battle system instead of the new aged stuff. Even if you put it into a classic system it’s still not like the original; however, graphics are amazing. The story line is tweaked a little bit...but, I’m still playing it and waiting for everything to unfold more. I’m only 3 hours in so...

Simply put, epic! Square Enix didn’t disappoint. They’ve done the franchise justice be remaking FFVII. You embrace the same chemistry as the original, but in a new fashion. Check it out for yourself!

Ok game not really much changed but the graphics still a good game

Bought this game for my girlfriend as a gift since it’s a childhood favorite of hers. She loves it, and she says that the story of the remake is very close to the original that she remembered. Overall girlfriend approves!

I loved the original in the late 90s and was wondering how this would turn out, with the addition of a “new” battle system. However after playing over 20 hours so far, I am happy to say that this game turned out awesome!

A game years in the making, hopefully the next one will be coming out soon. It seems like they're progressing well with the next installment. I'm sure they'll release more info next year in that front

Absolutely great game if looked on by itself but your enjoyment will likely depend on two things: - How long you're willing to wait for the follow up games. - How much you care about the original story being changed.

At first I wasn’t so happy but after you get past the first part, it reminded me of the original.

The Game is awesome, it’s really slow in the beginning. I did not play the original Final Fantasy VII so this is my first experience and the game is very enjoyable. Best Buy delivered it to my door step on release day!

I've been waiting for this game since I was 16 years old. I just turned 30! The game is without a doubt its own game, but still very true to the original. Great game lots of fun and the hard mode replay earns its name!

This game is more like Final Fantasy 15 set in the story of 7. Not necessarily a bad thing but it should be known going in. Also, this story only consists of the time in Midgar and not the rest of the original game.

The only thing that would have made it more enjoyable would have been more open world exploration (to farm xp/gold/etc.) Overall, it was an enjoyable play through and I look forward to the next one in the series.

Great game, great replay, the details on the main characters are spectacular. Love the classic option but preferred full control. Must play if you missed out the first time. One of the greatest FF stories.

A+ combat + Gorgous cutscenes! Very good game! Can't wait for part 2!

Having just completed this game, I have to say I am impressed. FF7 remake artfully combines the classic FF7 experience with new story details and a new combat system to make this a must-own for any final fantasy fan.
