I was bummed when I found out that this is not a full remake of the original Final Fantasy 7. Instead, it will be released in episodic games. This game is beautiful and a must have for any FF fan.

One of the best remakes of this year. i missed to play this game when it first came out on ps1, but the experience im having now is amazing. Buy this game, you wont be disappointed.

Does the old game justice, and is a great throwback. The added visuals really adds to the feel of the game. You will not be disappointed if you were a fan of the game when it came out 23 years ago.

This game is so much fun and the price that I purchased it at was definitely worth it. I would recommend to anyone who hasn't gotten it yet. I play it on the PS5 and it loads fast.

The graphics are breath taking and the action has been upgraded from the original. If u owned the original final fantasy 7 this will bring back great memories. Cant wait for the next installment.

So I bought this game thinking I was gonna spend hours, no days, no weeks, no months playing it. But only to discover that someone decided to cut the story in half, boot a lot of characters from being able to play, and getting rid of half of the summons. Very disappointed with story, but graphics and gameplay are nice

I played the original FFVII when it came out and this remake feels like the developers really cared. The amount of small details for longtime fans are fantastic and the music is ever so beautiful.

If you love the original FF7, you must play this. If you love story-driven epics, then you have to play this. It's a 9/10 for me easily, and I don't even particularly enjoy the new combat system.

Same amazing game.. only BETTER! If you've played FF7 before.. prepare to be blown away. Updated and enhanced.. nothing taken away from the original.

You know what Final Fantasy VIi Remake feels like when you play it? Do ya? Amazing. No joke even if the ending makes no sense. Still a great piece of childhood brought up to date

An amazing game with top tier characters, world, music and gameplay. Its worth checking out by everyone. Long time fans of the original may be at odds of how to feel at the end of it all though.

My husband was so excited to get this game. He’s a huge final fantasy fan and his face was priceless when I gave him this. Shipping was nice and smooth. Overall I’m very happy with my purchase.

Having played the OG FF7, I wasn't having high hopes for any remake. But, this game blew me away. Playing it through second time around on hard and it's just as good as the first playthrough.

In 1997, they went 3-D far too soon, something that plagued Ocarina of Time and Super Mario 64 as well. After Final Fantasy III (VI) and it's epic story telling, this muddled cyberpunk tale was a bit disappointing, but it has enough of a following to make it worth the remake. Will you like it? It depends on whether you drank the Kool-Aide the first time around. It's decent but not great.

If you’ve played the original, please do yourself a favor and play this! It’s a must for any final fantasy fan. It did the original justice and you’ll without a doubt have a blast!

Waited 5 years since announcement to play this game, it looks stunning. Disappointed about the pre-order bonus though as I still haven't received the code yet, but the game itself is amazing.

This game is a blast to play with the upgraded Dynamics graphics music etc. If you were a fan of the original long ago like myself you owe it to yourself to pick this one up.

Im about half way through this game and ive enjoyed the time that i have invested into. Definitely is a great remake and cant wait to see how the rest of the story unfolds.

You will straight love this insanely well done I can’t wait for the other parts to be released I didn’t know the game was just the first part of ff7 when I got it or I might have waited
