Was bummed they changed the story from the original FF7 but still a nice retelling. Other than that, the game was extremely boring to play through. Almost a completely linear game from one cut scene to another and in-between, you control Cloud along a linear path that forces you to shimmy between walls and walk/run from one point to another with long series of mandatory fights along the way. You can't really deviate from the given path and you must follow when theirs a NPC guide. Side routes are almost always dead-end with no rewards (or a potion or ether) that's not really worth your time.

Never played a ff game before and this was a blast. Looking forward to the sequel!

Very well-done remake of an already amazing game. Definitely recommend, even if you haven't played FFVII before.

Game works great, just not a great game. Graphics and sound are impressive. Game play is lacking though, while battles are fun. The in between is boring and almost feels not finished. 3/5.

I enjoy the game and it brings back a lot of fond memories but I don't like the fact that it's going to be released in multiple pieces across multiple months/years. I've waited a long time for this and it just doesn't last long enough for what it should be.

Its definitely a must get for year 2020. If your a final fantasy fan, get the game. You won't be disappointed.
