Tough, yet accessible. The fire emblem series is everything anyone could want in a great turn based rpg. I wont spoil anything, but there are features unique to fire emblem that makes the combat stand out from others. Just a flat out awesome game. A must buy for 3ds owners.

Never played an FE game before but I tried the demo for this and I was impressed. When I played the full game, I was blown away. This is the best game available for 3DS. If you're a fan of other SRPGs (FF Tactics, Disgaea), or just a 3DS owner looking for a new fix, you will love this game!

Fire Emblem: Awakening is an excellent game with tons of customization options, ways to play the game, and reasons to keep playing. It can get tedious at times, or cause you to rely on your super units too much, but that is all just depends on how you choose to play the game.

The game has a great relationship building system allowing for extra depth into character personalities. The ability to change class as many times as you like is a double edged sword. It allows for more customization of characters but allows them to become too powerful.

First time playing a Fire Emblem game and i must say its fantastic. I didnt even own a 3ds but because of all the positive reviews i bought one. Im glad i did because i would have missed out on a great game with an incredible story and characters to choose from.

Wonderful game if looking for a challenging but well balanced strategy game. The graphics are top of the line for the 3DS. The game is filled with interesting characters and the relationship feature is a nice diversion from/enhancement to the main battles.

It is a great game for one that enjoys a great strategy game. It offers many types of warriors like a Lord, Archer, Technician, Mag, and melee fighter. The stages are always different and always a challenge. I would not recommend this for a beginner.

I have played every Fire Emblem. They made this one more accessible to newcomers which is awesome! But the game after Awakening, Fates, ruined the series completely with its waifu **** that was added into it. Thanks Nintendo!

Fire Emblem games have always been great and challenging, this game is both, but still has an "easy" mode for beginners or casual players. The game has hours of game play from the direct story line, to even trying to find the future children.

Been watching this game for months to go on sale, I played my boyfriend's copy but when we broke up I lost my save file so I had to start over. Grabbed it when it was on sale and have had a blast reliving the game.

If you enjoy the Fire Emblem series (or Advance Wars, also from Intelligent Systems), you will get a kick out of this.

I was late to the 3DS party, and this game as well. After hearing overwhelmingly positive reviews, it was not priced very where elsewhere, but I was finally able to pick it up from Best Buy at a great price.

I've played this for around 10 hours so far and really am enjoying it. I like the turn based pace - great for commuting! I haven't played a Fire Emblem game before but would highly recommend this to those that enjoyed Advance Wars.

If you are a fan of the Fire Emblem series, then you have to play the best game in the series. And if you are not, Intelligent Systems went out all the way to create a game that satisfied both parties: The newbies and the experts.

Not just a great game for strategy lovers, but for anyone who's interested in playing a well crafted and challenging game. It's very fun to team up with different characters to see what their strengths are. Highly Recommended.

This is a deep and engrossing game that anyone with a 3DS should be buying. It's got deep strategy combat and a really interesting story. This isn't like other SRPG games either completely different. Get it now enjoy.

I bought this game for a female friend of mine and she absolutely loved it infact when i gave it to her she did not sleep played it all night long :-) she has played it multiple times and enjoyed it very much

A fun game in the Fire Emblem/Shining Force/FFT tradition. If you like any of those you'll like this. The addition of the "Casual" mode makes it easier on players who don't want to deal with perma-death.

I liked the game very much. It is very immersive and fun. I do not like to have to put hours in it in order to make your characters stronger. At certain point gaining experience becomes homework.

I heard from my friend it was good, but it is actually great. Fun and challenging. There is plenty of content to keep you busy for a while. You should definitely get this if you have a 3DS.
