Depending on your settings the characters who join you can permanently die

Very good game. If you play it on classic, your characters do not respawn if they are killed in combat which forces you to strategize and use everyone's strength to get out alive.

Really only my second FE but man is it good. Really challenging on hard and on Lunatic mode you will die, a lot. This game requires a lot of strategy on the higher difficulties.

Overall it was a very typical fire emblem game and storyline. The ability to pair up made the normal setting much easier to play though hard and lunatic are still quite hard.

This game is simply addicting and fun. The characters are very customizable to your liking and you can create your ultimate team. Lots of strategy in this RPG. Very well done.

For being my first Fire emblem title, FE:A is a fun strategy turn base game.

Fire Emblem: Awakening is one of the best games for the 3DS. Before you play the lastest games in the Fire Emblem series, make sure you play this one.

This is a great turn based RPG type game. Its like playing a puzzle on every episode/map. You have to be sure to spread your experience and fight with everyone so you don't get overrun in the later levels. Leveling system is great and cut scenes make it feel like playing a movie at times. Only gripe is at lower levels healers are hard to level up and get targeted constantly.

As a first time fire emblem player I have been blown away by how awesome this game is. Makes me nostalgic for final fantasy tactics. I can't recommend this game enough.

FE:A is easily one of the best games on the 3DS platform. A truly deep strategic RPG. And if you like it there are several sequels as well.

A great strategy game for experienced gamers, but has features for less experienced gamers. It has great character development. Good features and lots of DLC.

You will get your moneys worth out of this fun title. Great single and multi-player modes. Lots of strategy and action. I would highly recommend.

This is a great game to start with if you're new to the Fire Emblem series. The basic mechanics are explained well in this game.

I have loved all the games in this series and this is no exception. The graphics are great and the gameplay is amazing.
