this was my first fire emblem game and i have lost myself in the world so many times. once you buy a cartridge you can download the other parts through the in game store.

If you are a fire emblem fan then you already know what to expect. Birthrights is the easier of the two games but it's still fun and if you are new and don't like the idea of permadeath you can change it to a normal type game but i think that mechanic of the game is was makes it interesting.

One of the most epic SJRP games to come out in a while. If you like games like Tactics Ogre and Final Fantasy Tactics do yourself a favor and pick this up.

Got it as a gift, unfortunately some one else beat me to the punch and purchased the same gift. In the end, the satisfaction was plenty of hours of fun!

I've been a fan of the Fire Emblem series for several years. Glad to see Nintendo pays attention to this franchise, and gave the fans a worthy addition.

Oppose to Conquest, this provides the basic hero-style gaming. In this version, there are things that are not included in Conquest, such as challenges.

If you love Strategy RPG's then this game is definitely worth a shot! If you are not a fan of previous Fire Emblem games this won't change your mind.

This game was great. I'd only played Awakening before this and loved that one as well. This one was just as fun and I love the strategic combat.

With not so many ds games being released I looked forward to this game .It was pre-ordered and picked up on release date ,met my expectations .

great game. mostly story driven with some strategic battles. pretty straight forward and no real "exploring". very fun game either way.

A great, in-depth strategy game. What's nice is that you can get the other game as DLC, and save yourself some money in the process.

Very good RPG, to be played together w/ Conquest. Too bad the Special Edition that included the DLC chapter was sold out quickly.

After enjoying Fire Emblem Awakening despite its flaws; I was hoping this would be a step up. Unfortunately the gameplay has been dumbed down and the story is poorly written at best. Go with Fire Emblem Awakening over this disappointing follow up.

I'm only a few hours in, but thoroughly enjoying the game thus far. More story-rich than I remember the previous game being.

This is one series that maintains consistent excellence. Strategy games are probably my favorite types and this one shines.

If you liked fire emblem awakening, your going to love this one. You should pick conquest after you finish birthright.
