Two different versions that vary in the story but preferred this one. Worth it for FE fans

Another great Fire Emblem game that does not disappoint. Contains all of the aspects of Fire Emblem games that we have come to expect and love. The ability to choose a side or not depending on what version of the game you get offers us more than enough content to satiate our hunger.

I LOVE this game, its got ton of hours you can sink into an amazing character customization and challenging maps. My only problem is the cost to get all 3 stories but thats only a minor nitpick

I absolutely love turn based tactics/strategy games and this is one of the best series going around. would have been great if Nintendo didn't sell them separately and it was in one package for the same price. charging more for an alternate story path seems crazy

It's a two part game. So you have to get the other fire emblem game to really enjoy it.

This game is awesome and is the companion piece to Birthright. This game is definitely more difficult as well and is ideal for those players looking for a challenge. A must have game if you are a fan of Fire Emblem and awesome video and audio with the 3DS.

Still "new" Fire Emblem, and that's okay

Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest is the version of the Fates duo (since you need one of the two to get the third line) that I chose to buy. There seems to have been an improvement in AI since Awakening, as the enemies are more likely to punish a bad move than in the previous game in the series. That said, I don't think it's as much as call back to the older Fire Emblem games as much as it is a better balancing of the new approach. Your power levels can get absolutely out of control even earlier if you use MyCastle raids to get perfect skill sets on each character; I'd recommend avoiding this on a first playthrough, as it will flatten what challenge the game is meant to provide faster and earlier than optimized children did in Awakening. Definitely a fun playthrough, though the child system feels tacked on and unnecessary this time around...here's hoping the next FE doesn't bother with that.

Honestly, this game is great. The Fire Emblem series is one of my favorite franchises to date. The visuals, audio, and gameplay are all rock-solid, and the story is decently told. The gimmick of having multiple perspectives (Conquest, Birthright, Revelations) is neat, as well. My big problem with this game (specifically Conquest, as I have not run into this problem in Birthright yet) is that the percentages and numbers almost never play out as they should, thus making the game the "harder" version. This is a cheap way to add "difficulty," and I found it incredibly annoying. Many times I would have an 80% chance to do damage to an enemy while the enemy may have 50% or less, and my attack would miss while the enemy would not only hit me, but get a critical hit. Aside from this, I really enjoyed this game, and am working through Birthright now!

Awesome, Fire Emblem game. I'm a long time fan so I'm biased, and if you've never played one before, but Birthright. This game is HARD. It will push your strategic mind to the brink. Consider playing with permadeath off. You have been warned.

The game is everything I wished for. Customize central character, great story, interesting development. I have high hope for the series and this not let me down. I have both of the series and plan to purchase the last chapter.

Fun game, but much more difficult than birthright. If you have a hard time with Turn-Based games like this (or in previous Fire Emblem games), you may want to be sure to set the difficulty to where the characters respawn in battle.
