Very good tracker, not waterproof or resistant but advanced enough to have texts calls and movement reminders. Great for the price, great for beginners, though this is my third FitBit tracker. If I didn't have an Apple Watch, I would have sprung for the Blaze so for advanced users, you may want to go for that one. Otherwise, go for the Alta

Bought this for my wife to track steps towards her goal to lose weight. Great device, great looking, convenient to use.

I have owned my Fitbit for around 2 years, it is still working perfectly and has been well worth the money. I have tried others and after numerous issues, tried this one, it has been amazing, it is very accurate and helpful in tracking steps, calories burned and sleep. Would definitely recommend this!

What I like about it -- the interface with my android phone is easy and it appears to connect without a problem, battery life is good, I like the different display options. What I don't like -- I don't really like the band (hard to put on and not that comfortable), many times I have to tap on it over and over to get the display to come up.

I love the design of this FitBit. It seems more like an accessory than an activity tracker. I like that it syncs with my phone for calls and messages. It definitely reminds me to keep moving too. My only complaint is that sometimes it doesn't automatically show the time it messages when you lift your wrist. I would definitely recommend it!

I bought as a gift for my brother. He likes it. It does everything it says. Very easy to set up. I am thinking about buying one for myself. I am very interesting on trying the move function; it alerts you to get up and move after sitting down for awhile. Also alerting you when you receive a phone call. Sleep tracking is also cool.

At first I wasn't happy with the "snap". I had a hard time snapping the band together on my wrist, but after a few days it became easier and it stays on tight and secure. I love the at a glance details. Time, steps, distance, calories, all important things for me to know. It only takes a tap and there is my answer to questions.

Bought this as a present for the wife who's previous Fitbit didn't survive a jump in the pool to help a struggling kid. She wanted one she could change bands on and this has the more advanced features such as notifications, good battery life and she can swap bands and it still be small and stylish. This checks all the boxes.

This product is great for work outs. Not only is it water resistant but very accurate. Its' great to know how long you were sleeping, calories burned, how active you've been and how many steps you have to reaching your goal. Great for a beginner before advancing to a more advance product.

I read lots of reviews before I made this purchase. Most of them were very positive but of course not all of them. And one of them turned out to be true: the heart rate problem does exist. But luckily I didn't buy it to use as a way to track steps and sleep. And for those purposes it works great. I'm very happy with my purchase

I needed a new Flex and found the Alta to be an improvement over the Flex as it offered more options. It displays information on how you are doing towards your goals, and interacts with your smart phone's capabilities for receiving notifications of calls, texts, and more. Slim design looks good and better quality wrist bands.

Love this gadget. It's smaller than the other Fitbit's so it fits smaller wrists pretty well. You can read text messages and vibrates when receiving a call. Very convenient. The battery last forever and a day. When it's going low, I charge it while showering (not waterproof just water resistant) and it charges pretty fast.

I purchased the Fitbit Alta a few weeks ago and have used it to track my steps each. I've also used the sleep function to track my sleep and have found that I don't get as much sleep as I thought I was getting. I like all the different functions and being able to see the information on a dashboard as well as on the fitbit.

I wear it every day and like tracking steps, exercise, and sleep. I also track steps on my phone and sometimes they are off by over 1000, I am not sure which is inaccurate. I don't think it tracks steps well when I am doing certain activities, like pushing a stroller or shopping cart. Very easy to use.

My Fitbit Alta does what I had expected and more. I wanted an accurate step counter with a battery charge level indicator, and the Alta has both. Also--the Alta tracks calories expended, acivity and sleep...plus the Alta software helps with calorie counting, periodic encouragement, and has an alarm. I recommend it.

I love that it tracks sleep and regular exercise automatically. Seeing who is calling or texting is also helpful - I recently had turned the volume off on my phone and forgot to turn it on, but my fitbit let me know there was an incoming call. Perfect!

This is a great tracker should be five stars but it is difficult to take off and put back on. The clasp is not the best and a few time it was not secure enough and came off during a workout. Other wise it's pretty accurate and the motivation feature on it is helpful during the work day to get me up and moving.

The battery lasts forever with a short charge when I’m in the shower. And it kept a great step count.

I ordered this for my husband and he liked the design very much. However, it did not monitor heart rate and this was something he wanted to keep track of regularly. It will do the trick in the way of simplicity and ease of use but I actually found one that will do what he wanted and he's loving it so far.

I traded my charge in for the Alta. I had to return it after a week because of some software issues but no big deal. I like the Alta style better than the charge and being able to switch out the bands. The charge was a bit easier to use as far as looking at your information though. Overall still love it.
