I really like this tracker. I haven't had much issues with it. The only downsides is that when you tap, it doesn't react as quickly as it should; the other issue is that it's sometimes difficult to clasp. What I really like is that it'll let you know when to move. That feature is what drew me to this tracker.

I love the small size of the Alta. The band was difficult to clasp and would get caught on items and pull open. Almost lost it loading groceries. luckily there are replacement bands available with a standard watch band type clasp now it is perfect! The sleep analysis has been interesting. I need more sleep.

Got it to motivate a healthier lifestyle and so far has been extremely helpful from telling me how many steps I've taken to how many calories I've burned. I wear it everyday, including to sleep, and its very comfortable. Just wish the heart rate monitor had been part of it too. Definitely recommend it.

I use the watch to help keep track of my exercise time, step/mile in a day and of course to tell time.

I watched the fitbits come out and they seemed bulky and always the same look. The Alta is slimmer and stylish with the ability to change bands so you can have a different look (color). One thing - watch how you set it up especially with the "sync" feature so that you don't wear the battery down too fast.

Fantastic Fitbit for the active person that does not get in the way. The added feature of being able to change out the band when it wears is AWESOME! Plus, you can change band color too! Love the blue tooth notification of texts/calls and I can decide if I want to take my phone out. LOVE this company!

This is my third tracker that I am buying and the price I got this one was amazing. It's pretty easy to use once you understand the functionalities. It has kept track of everything I do and I actually feel motivated to take those 250 steps in one hour. The silent alarm works great. I love my tracker

My husband and I LOVE having our Fitbit Altas! We both decided to get a little healthier and this was a great start! We especially love being able to track our sleep as neither of us sleep very well. It's helpful to get a glimpse as to what's going on. And we compete with each other is such fun! Love it!

Bought this for my wife because she wanted to know how many steps she's takes a day, 17k average! I have the Fitbit HR and she wanted something different so I bought this. Works great and now we have competitions on how many steps per week and watching calorie in and out through the free Fitbit app.

Nice slimmer device. It replaced one by another manf. and I like it much better, as it seams more accurate and easily less intrusive. My issue is that I've had some issues with syncing the device.. to phone or laptop. I've read others have this issue. Here's hoping Fitbit takes care of this quickly.

This tracker can pick up the different types of exercise.....walking, biking, aerobics, etc. I like that you can also choose what appears on your tracker. This tracker let is also sleeker looking than the Flex. I gave it a 4 star only because the replacement straps and options are very expensive.

I have had other fitbits before. I always wished that they were slimmer so that I could wear other wrist items (i.e., watch or bracelets). The new Alta does the trick. Another great feature is the ability to read your text messages from the device. It is perfect for when you aren't by your phone.

I love my fitbit alta. It comes in different colors, it is simple and cute. Works great. I love knowing how many colories I burn through out a day. It keeps my calorie intake on track as well as my exercise. Only down side is that it does not have a heart rate monitor which I would love.

First time user for this technology. Integrates well with my iPhone and alerts me of contacts

I love the Alta. I had the original charge a few years back and I loved it, but I found the newer version was a little to large for my taste. The Alta was the perfect solution. I love the way it fits and looks. I do wish it was able to track Stairs, but otherwise a great overall product.

I am trying to get healthier, eat whole foods, and be more active. The fitbit tracks my steps, encourages hourly movement, and gets my competitive side going with friends and family. The app tracks my food, calories, carbs, fiber etc intake. Love it, and it makes getting healthy more fun.

Before Fitbit Alta, I had the Charge, and the Alta looks much better than charge, but I miss some features that I used to have in the charge that are not in the Alta. Anyway, it works. The battery life is excellent, I just need to charge it once a week. Overall is basic, elegant and durable.

The Alta was purchased for my wife. I have the Blaze but that is too big for her wrist. The Alta is a great combination of size and features for those starting out their journey to fitness with a fitness tracker. Hopefully a future version will have integrated heart rate monitoring as well.

I had the charge HR and it stopped working so since the Alta was new I tried it and I love that you can change the bands if you want it is always saying things to you to get you moving and I like the style much better so far not one problem. Thanks Fitbit Alta and of course Best Buy !!
