Customers are saying

Customers regard the Alta Activity Tracker (Large) favorably for its sleep tracking, ease of use, and comfortable size. Many appreciate the long battery life and stylish design, along with features like step tracking and notifications. However, some users wish for a heart rate monitor and improved water resistance. A few also noted challenges with the clasp mechanism.

My Fitbit has not only diagnosed my sleeping habits it also has helped me with my eating and my overall well-being. My Fitbit has helped me consume more liquids during the day kept track of all my fitness and activities and also told me that I've just about run a marathon everyday

Bought this for my step daughter, she loves the product and hardly ever takes it off, the original band however was very difficult for her to put on as the closures had to snap together in a way that she could not work; purchased a magnetic band and problem is solved.

    Good Alternative to Jawbone UP24

I had been using a Jawbone UP24 activity tracker but after having the third warranty replacement from Jawbone in a year, I gave up on it and started looking for something else. This provided things I was looking for: step counting, reminder to move throughout the day, and sleep tracking.

Easy to snap in and stays on very well. Works perfectly with my iPhone to get good results based on your wearing it on your wrist. Love how you can set goals for yourself calories you're burning. Good product overall! Would definitely continue with the Fitbit products for years to come!!

I love this Fitbit. It's so sleek and fashionable and easy to use. Once you get used to putting it on and taking it off it gets easier. The way it fastens is much better than the magnetic ones that sometimes get caught on clothes and stuff and fall off easily. So this one is much better.

I loved this design because it is a skinnier tracker that still has a watch. I use it all the time as I work in a hospital. I only wish it had a second hand. I have to charge it about once a week. It syncs up great with my phone and has helped me track my fitness and health goals.

The fitbit has entered my life at an ideal time. I have retired and am in a warmer climate for three months. As its my first time at organized physical fitness and coming from a scientific background....the number approach is perfect. It functions exactly as it was advertised.

Works great. Bought it for my wife. She wanted something less bulky. I bought the Charge2 for myself. The only reason I give it 4 stars is the clasp is kind of difficult for an older lady. I usually have to snap the prongs in all the way for her. Other than that, she loves it.

Very easy to set up and use. The only thing that I feel needs improvement is the way it attaches to your wrist. The snap clasp can easily be pulled apart with just the slightest tug and then you loose your Fit Bit. I like the way you can invite friends and compete against each other.

My employer started offering extra cash for being healthier by tracking steps, sleep, stress, and nutrition. My coworkers love earning extra money and getting into better shape by motivating and challenging each other via the fitbit app. Love that the Alta is thinner than the others.

I love how slim this band is! I had the FitBit Charge and it was too bulky. The blue band gets dirty easy and is somewhat hard to clean. Alta does not have the stair level count but automatically registers your workouts. I would highly recommend this band and have already done so.

I was previously using the Fitbit Charge HR. I liked the look of the Alta so much that I made the jump (I didn't really need to track floors or HR). I love that there are different bands that can be swapped out as well.

I upgraded from a Fitbit one to the Alta and I love it. Yes the clasp is hard a first but once you get the hang of it, you can handle it easily. Have a friend that also got one that has bad arthritis and she can work the clasp easily and loves that it has made her exercise more.

I love my Fitbit. I have ordered other bands online to change colors for what I’m wearing. It’s neat to have it hooked up to your phone so you can use it while you sleep and check your sleep patterns. I get my text messages on it also.

Nice fitness tracker for those who don't mind its inability to track heart rate, stairs climbed, or be utilized as a stop watch. I love being able to change bands. This is something that I couldn't do with my charge hr. Get a screen protector because it easily scratches.

The new Alta is difficult to get it to show anything on the screen at times. Sometimes you have to constantly tap on it to get anything to appear. It would be nice to have a button on the side like the HR Charge. It does it's job though, and my wife likes the slimmer look.

My company bought me one and I got 2 for our family Christmas gathering. You can switch up the bands. The family can now sink with each other and challenge/motivate each other to get fit. You can challenge with your friends on the mainland as well or where ever they are.

This is my second alter… I need a new band so I bought some band replacements but then decided to buy a new Ulta as well. I gifted my original alter to a friend with two of the bands and I kept one of the spare bands for myself. That that that alter is very easy
