Love the Alta. I previously had a Fitbit Flex. The weight is about the same and the band is much better quality. I like the fact that I can see my steps on the Alta rather than having to use my phone like I did with the Flex. I would highly recommend.

I had a fitbit zip which I liked, but it was very simple and limited in what it did. I like the fact that I am notified of incoming calls, and that it reminds me to move hourly. It would be nice if it tracked your heart rate. I really like the Alta.

Over the course of the 18 months I had this, I had to return it 3 times for the wristband peeling away from the device. One of those times, the wristband came completely loose from the point that it latches to the device itself. I never wore it in the shower, it was never submerged, I live in a temperate climate area (the Pacific Northwest), and it was well cared for (never had any scratches or drops). But like clockwork, every six months the band peels back. I ultimately returned it (thanks to the Best Buy extended warranty) and used the money to purchase an Apple Watch instead. I'm not interested in needing to buy a different band to make the device useable.

Got this for my friend, and he loves it. He loves the move notifications on the screen,and how he can see who's calling without getting his phone. He's completely satisfied with this product.

Nice Fitbit. I like that the watch band is replaceable. I've had 2 bands break on other Fitbits that couldn't be replaced. This one doesn't count flights of stairs, I miss that. I LOVE that you can read your text messages and caller ID on it.

The Fitbit has been such a motivation in getting me and my family healthy. The little motivations it gives me every day has made a world of difference. The connection it gives me to my friends and family are such inspiration & motavation !

I love th fit bit reminders to keep yourself moving all day. I have become more aware of my overall exercise and health with the fit bit. It has become a fun competition with friends and family with who get get the most steps in a day.

This is the third Fitbit that I have had and I really like this one. The only issue I have (as with all the wrist trackers) is, if you are not swinging your arms, then the steps are not accurate. The Fitbit One is a great problem solver for this.

I had the original fit bit and this new one is great! I love how I can see who is calling or texting me with out digging out my phone from my purse. It also helps me not miss calls because I can't hear my phone ringing, I feel it on my wrist.

My wife wanted to upgrade her first generation Fitbit to the Alta edition. Tracking, text alerts, sleep monitor, and calorie counter are all functional without issues. Simply put, the device performs the functions it claims without issue.

I bought this only because I misplaced the fit bit flex. And I love the fact that I can change the straps as well. It has the added advantage of being connected to my phone and serves as caller ID when my phone isn't close by. I love it.

I love fitbits so much. I traded out the straps on this one for one with a buckle for better hold during crazy activities. It's pretty water resistant too. I dunk mine while doing dishes all the time and it still works like a charm.

Love my new Alta! Huge upgrade from the Flex! The fit takes a little while to get used to because it's heavier, but overall I'm very satisfied. The only issue i have had at all is a difference in active minutes shown on tracker versuses the app.

My wife bought this model after her Charge stopped working properly. No longer offering the model she had so she had to upgrade. Some additional features but overall works them same. No additional effort to install the upgrade which was nice.

Received as gift, didn't know if I would use but now look foward to it motivating me to get up and move! I do find it a bit difficult to snap the wrist strap, may see if there is an alternative that is easier for my arthritic fingers.

I really like the Alta ! It does everything I need except heart rate. Only thing I don't like it is the cheap rubbery wrist band and how it makes your arm sweat. Fitbit needs to step up

My wife loved her Fitbit while she had it. She ended up returning it for an Apple Watch since it had some monitoring features and while she kept the watch for its other features, she misses her Fitbit and wishes she would have kept it too !

My daughter works in hospital and walks for 8 hours a day. She wanted to be able to track her steps and heart rate. . So far so good.It even registers weight loss so she can keep track daily. Good purchase.

I used to have a charge, but the band started to come apart from the electrical parts. I love the flexibility of the bands, they are easily changeable, you can select what you want the display to show and what orientation. No complaints.

I have owned 4 different versions of FitBit (Flex, Charge, Charge HR and Alta) and this is by far my favorite one. It seems to be the most durable with the most information I need. It doesn't have floor tracking, but I never used that anyway.
