Customers are saying

Customers recognize the Alta Activity Tracker (Small) for its ease of use, small size, and effective step tracking capabilities. Many appreciate the sleek design, long battery life, and sleep tracking features, while also noting the accuracy of its data. However, some users found the band and clasp difficult to use, and the lack of a heart rate monitor was also a common point of feedback. Additionally, the display's readability in sunlight was mentioned as an area for improvement.

I have had a Fitbit product since 2010. I have had different models and this is my first experience with the Alta. Overall, I enjoy all the features. A reminder to move every hour is new to me and effective when it's convenient. If I am traveling not so much! I have compared many different brands over the years and always choose Fitbit. Consumer studies always agree with my needs, so I trust that it is the best product for me!

Fitbit Alta; This is a good general fitness tracker . Not meant for the serious athlete. It has no heart rate monitor. Wanted a tracker that had replaceable bands. Had a Jawbone and the band split and I couldn't replace it unless I bought another entire tracker. Also the Alta has notifications which I like. The software is OK but it won't let you modify a workout. Not worth the list price but on sale or with a discount it is worth while.

If you want something small and sleek that counts your steps and tracks your sleep, this will do. If you want to get notifications from your phone, you will need another app to send messages to your fitbit, but even that is inconsistent. After using this for a while, I just yearn for something with more features. But if you just want a fitness tracker, this is a nice sleek package with replaceable bands.

I am very pleased with my Alta Fitbit. I love the fact that the Alta Fitbit has a watch also. I really appreciate the digital reminders to start moving more during unusually inactive times. The weekly summary of my physical activity is great, because it motivates me to try to do better during the coming week. I have had a little difficulty closing the band, but I am finally getting the hang of it. Overall, I really like it!

I needed to replace my original Fitbit because it fell off during an overseas flight and I didn't notice until too late. The Fitbit Alta is small enough for my small wrist, and tracks everything I want (steps & miles) plus it includes the time, an upgrade from my old one. I've had it for over a month and love it! (I did replace the band with one that had a buckle so I wouldn't lose this one!)

I am not new to fitbit, I started out with the flex. I came from a charge HR. The design of this is nice and sleek which I love compared to how chunky the charge HR was. Even though it doesn't have a heart rate monitor its like super nice upgrade from the flex. If you want something functional, easily adaptable with any outfit, sleek and you don't care that it doesn't have the heart rate monitor, this is a good option. I love mine!

This was a gift for my Mom. Even though she is almost 70 years old, she had no problem setting up and using it as she strolls around town. One of my best gifts ever!

This device is meeting all expectations and has performed as outlined in the product descriptions. The set up was simple and the battery life is at, a little better than the 5 days noted. For the average person, who does not want to track the "super human" work out routines, this will give you what you are looking for. This particular model was chosen as it was for a female user and was smaller in size than others.

Just seeing how many steps I have taken keeps me motivated to make sure I do at least 10k. The wrist strap did have to be replaced after 6 months, but inexpensive.

I have enjoyed my Fitbit and it has performed as good if not better than I thought it would. It prompts me to get up and get more steps in so I get more steps in throughout the day not just at one time. My only complaint is that a few days after I got it I was busy moving boxes and it fell off my arm without me knowing. Luckily I was able to locate it using the tracker on my phone. Not had any problems other than that.

    So Happy with my FitBitAlta

I was reluctant to get another FitBit, because when they first came out, didn’t work the way they were intended. Now it is in sync with my steps! The FBA works! It records my steps, tells me I need more sleep, and now I’m not as tired as I used to be. I had no idea I was only averaging 3 hours of sleep, until I got my FBA. I remove it only to charge it and when I shower! I LOVE my FBA!

Love the slimmer design. About a week after purchasing the Alta, the Alta HR came out. I wish I would have waited because I prefer the band with the clasp verses the snap. That was how I lost my first FITBIT FLEX, it unsnapped and I didn't realize it and lost it. Although I see replacement bands are now available and can be interchanged with the Alta, they are really pricey - $59.95 just for band. UGH!

I Had been looking at apple watches for quite a while, but wasn't ready to take the leap and spend that kind of money. ..I was also interested in the sleep and step tracker..I don't know how accurate it is, so I can't review that. All I know is the information I Receive,is good enough for me! It tracks my steps and sleeping pattern, and gives me a weekly report. But my favorite feature- when I receive a text or call on my phone, I can read it and see who it is! It is so handy! I love my Fitbit, and Would definitely recommend to others. But I'm definitely ready to try an Apple Watch.

I had a Nike band for five years. Then Nike stopped supporting it. I got the Fitbit and like it better than the band. It has so many more features, It syncs easily with my phone. I love the sleep tracking. I do find the band a little difficult to snap closed, but that is minor. It has a longer battery life than the other band did. So overall, I am quite happy with it!

I got this for my brother, and he loves it!!! The battery lasts for a long time and is really easy to use. Another great perk of it is how it notifies you when you receive a text message. It's also very durable. We live on the beach and love to swim, and this thing keeps up with us. The quality lasts. Great Buy. I might buy one for myself now as I see how great it is.
