I got this for my daughter's 12th birthday. Hoping it would keep her off the computer and wii u so much. Every time it buzzes she gets up off the couch and takes a brisk walk around outside. She is reaching her goal everyday. BUT the clasp is very difficult and she can not do it herself. It is hard for me to get it to snap on. So I guess that is a problem with the band. Everything else is great.

I def recommend for anyone who walks a lot and it’s awesome for tacking goals and so forth. Great watch and would be a great Christmas gift for anyone.

I had the Fit Bit One first and then bought the Alta. I LOVE the Alta. When the Alta stopped working I immediately ordered a replacement at Best Buy.

I have had at least 4 different types of fitness trackers (Garmin, Jawbone and two versions of Fitbits) and so far this is one of the more well-liked ones I have bought. It has solid battery life and very neat and clean design. Overall I am very happy with it but I would tell people to be careful of the screen. It is still glass so if you have to, get the warranty for it to protect your investment

Easy to use, great for watching sleept patterns, steps, etc. Lightweight

This is the perfect tracker for smaller individuals. It is not bulky yet does everything you need it to and then some. I would recommend getting the Zagg Screen Protector that is a Best Buy Exclusive item with it. Overall great product that was very easy to set up and begin using. You do need to have a smart phone with the Fitbit App to get full function and ease of use out of the product.

I picked one of these up for my wife and she loves the Alta. She gets a lot of compliments on it and it works perfectly for tracking step activity.

So I purchased this tracker in the hopes of motivating myself to get up and walk more. I work from home and I don't get up from my desk nearly as much as I did when I worked in the office. This Fitbit Alta is thin and does the job reminding me to "move" while obviously keeping track of my steps. I just have to do what it tells me to do which, many days, is easier said than done.

I love this Fitbit. It is stylish and very comfortable to wear. While tracking steps is most important, I also love to review my sleep patterns.

The Alta is great for tracking steps. The reminders are great for keeping you motivated to reach your goal. The only issue I have had is tracking active minutes and steps on a treadmill. You can enter manually on the website, but not very convenient. This seems to be a common complaint of many in the Fitbit community. I would still recommend tha Alta and have enjoyed using it.

The band is a little hard to work with, initially. As for the tracker, I am pleased with my purchase. I really like the silent alarm feature.

I love the fitbit. Been wanting one for a long time but hesitant to spend this much money. So glad I did - love being able to track my steps!

Decided to purchase this as my first Fitbit. Its small and compact which is nice. Most of the day I forget I am wearing but it tends to bother me at night. My only real complaint with the device is the band. It comes off too easily. Multiple times I found myself looking around for it during normal activity. All in all the app is easy to use an integration with the Alta is good.

I really like being able to track multiple activities throughout the day with this device. Steps taken, calories burned, and water intake are a few examples. I even wear it to bed to track how well I'm sleeping. I also bought a few extra wristbands to go with it to have a variety of colors to wear! I would definitely recommend to anyone interested in wearable technology.

It does a great a job of tracking your steps. I also use the app on my phone. I was able to lose 15 pounds and am having no problem keeping the weight off. I did have a problem with the pebble but the customer service was outstanding, Within a week I had a new one free of charge. My only wish is that they would come up with one that is fully waterproof.

Great tool for tracking your walks. Much better than the older model Fitbits that had trouble with the bands coming apart. Recommended.

Works great and holds the charge for several days the only complaint is the charger. I wish the chargers did not change for each model

I bought this for my step daughter who works out constantly and from what she tells me about it, she absolutely loves it. The alta fit tracks her steps, how much she has walked and even her sleeping pattern. She managed to receive text messages on it. She also loves the fact that it will vibrate so you can get up and move if you have been sitting around for to long.

I previously had a ChargeHR and didn't like that the band broke and I had to charge the battery every three days. The altra battery lastsatleast 5 days and it is slimmer, so it's not as bulky and fits nicely on my wrist. I also like the little prompts to move or the celebrations when I meet a step goal whether it is hourly or the daily. I am so glad I chose the Alta!
