This is my third fitbit. I gifted my last one, an original Alta, to a coworker. I wanted this one because it provides so much more information. The down side was when I took it out of the box, it wouldnt charge, it wouldnt sync. I spent over two hours combined - three phone calls, to get it to work.

Though I have never liked wearing a watch, this Fitbit has been comfortable on my wrist. I like the heart rate and sleep features in addition to the step counting, and it doubles as a watch.

A good system for someone starting out.. keeps you involved with gentle nudges to walk and the other things like heart rate and sleep habits are fun.

Bought it to keep up with the stats while I walk and play golf. Also use it for elliptical equipment use. Great to have a device to keep my stats.

My two-year old flex finally needed to be replaced. The Alta HR is less clunky and more accurate. The only downside is this is not water resistant.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for a friend. They enjoy it and said it works really well! Very neat idea. I may have to buy one for myself! I have one myself and they are nice to keep tabs on your progress. really nice on line also!

I love this Fitbit. I had a Fitbit Flex and liked it a lot but this Fitbit Alta is even better. I like that it records my heart rate. The battery lasts a long time before needing charging.

Really like the new FitBit. The battery lasts longer and it looks a little less boxy. Look forward to getting additional bands for it.

My wife uses this and it is just what she wanted--- mainly time, steps and calories. It is not bulky, easy to charge and easy to operate.

I bought this for my 14 year old daughter who wanted a smart watch. I was a little worried because she doesn't have a phone, she is just using an ipod for all her communication needs. The fit bit gives her all her notifications- text messages- snapchats etc.. The fit bit works great for her. It also helps track all her physical activities, which I also like since she is a tennis player. the band is the perfect color, just like the picture. I ordered this online and it arrived on time. This was a great buy and my daughter loves it.

The Fitbit Alta HR is a great exercise and sleep tracker. Its reminders to get in at least 250 steps/hr is a good motivator to move!

My wife really likes the smaller more compact size, but don't this smaller size fool you. This unit is packed with plenty of useful features.

Bought to monitor my steps but the App is so quick / easy and user friendly I track everything. Sleep, Calories, Activity levels you name it.

This is a good product but minimal options for what you're paying. I say this since the Charge 2 is the same price and a lot more features. Though this is smaller/sleeker in design, it is not worth the sacrifice of features in my eyes.

Wasn't sure if I would like this, but it turns out I do. I now know how many steps I take when playing golf, how bad my sleep really is...lol

The Fitbit is Pink and Powerful! Does everything my wife wants....steps, Heart rate....sleep patterns...goals! Just perfect for her.

Great activity tracker for someone who doesn't do a lot of multi-sport/variety exercise. Good battery life. Love the sleep tracker/monitor.

Works as described and expected. Only wish it knew when I was driving so that it wouldn't vibrate reminding me to take steps when I am in the car! Love the color (rose gold/pink), but the band does get quite dirty with everyday use. Recommend a darker color if you are going to wear everyday.
