Q: Does it measure steps and miles like the Charge HR?
A: Yes it does everything like the charge Hr just no altimitor to measure elevation.
A: My skin is very sensitive and I can't use products with nickel. So far I've had no allergic reactions wearing this watch and I've had it for 3 months.
Q: I know it says its not waterproof will it get messed up with excess sweat or rain????
A: No, rain and sweat will not affect the device.
Q: Just wanting to know if it displays the date? It's a must for us nurses. Thanks in advance.
A: Yes it does have dates available. You can change to different clock faces with some having the day and date next to the time. I love having mine while running around in the er. No more digging my phone out while in the patients room to time and date specimens
Q: what size is the small band verses the large band
A: The small fits 5.5" to 6.7" and the large fits 6.7" to 8.1" circumference wrists.
Q: i see where it is compatable with smartphones...do you have to have a smartphone for this to work?
A: Yes, a smartphone is much preferred although it is true the screen seems pretty nice. The smarthone provides a blue tooth connection that allows you to download the data that has been tracked. And the Smartphone app is where you really get the ability to review and understand the information the fitbit has been gathering. Using the fitbit ulta without a smartphone would leave you missing out on most of the neat functionality.
Q: Can the band for the fitbit alta hr be changed with the band of the first fitbit alta?
A: Yes, bands are interchangeable between the alta and the alta HR.
