Poor quality

Went from 215 lbs to 7 lbs to 425 lbs in matter of seconds. Then I stood on scale and there's a broken line across which is all it does now. I cleaned battery connections and followed Fitbit's suggestions via email exchange. Since it was over a year old Fitbit refused to assist me.
