I spent a lot of time comparing Blaze with the Apple Watch. Blaze syncs with almost all the critical apps like receive or cancel incoming calls, FB, whatsapp, calender, messages, etc. to get notifications in real time. You cannot reply to messages or make any calls from the watch though! But this is a fitness tracker with those app syncing feature as a bonus so I am loving it.

Works great and easy to use. It keeps track of steps, exercise and sleep.

Style and band selection are a big improvement over the surge along with the full color display. Surge has an advantage if you want to track GPS distance while moving and not use your cell phone GPS. Otherwise, this is a better option. Another plus, the app re-synchs nicely if you are switching between wearing a surge and a blaze. The watches and app synch without losing a beat.

I bought an apple watch for twice as much thinking I could get rid of my Fitbit. Health monitor was so poor, I kept the Fitbit. When the face popped off the Apple watch and the repair was more than the Fitbit Blaze, I switched. Love the Blaze does everything but let you talk to your wrist. Even can read messages. Better value than a Apple watch at half the cost.

Keeps track of all your data, nice alarm feature, long lasting on charge

I replaced my old Fitbit Watch with this one and couldn't be more pleased. I have a real need to keep track of my pulse when active and this does it pretty well. I question the accuracy but it does give a pretty close pulse rate. It is much more attractive than my old Fitbit. One of the best features is the way you charge it. Much easier than my old watch.
