Q: Does this new Gunmetal version have more features than the current Stainless Steel models?
A: The only extra feature I believe is the unstoppable style.
A: It is not water resistant so I would say not a good idea for swimming.
Q: Which is a better watch Fitbit or the apple
A: If you are into fitness and want to track your exercises and progress Fitbit is better. Apple is definitely not a fitness watch. It really only track activity and is not interactive with other fitness apps like myfitnesspal, mapmyrun, etc. however, Fitbit is.
Q: CAN YOU READ THE TEXT MESSAGES NOT JUST RECEIVE AN ALERT?
A: Yes you can. The Blaze gently vibrates to alert you, and you can read the entire message by scrolling with your finger. You can review all of the messages you receive until you clear them from the device. You can access the messages any time by swiping up on the face on the clock setting.
A: No it goes black until you flip your wrist, or are getting a text or email.
Q: Does the Fitbit blaze tract yoga and other exercises besides running and biking?
A: Yes there are many forms it tracks now. I use walk, bike, martial arts, treadmill, workout (a catch all) and circuit training.
A: A charge on these will usually last 3+ days, sometimes a little longer. I wear it to bed at night to track my sleep. I usually charge it on my computer during the day at work or at home in the evening. This still allows me to use it at night. I only miss out on a few steps usually.
