Customers are saying

Customers recognize the Blaze Smart Fitness Watch (Small) for its excellent sleep and activity tracking, ease of use, and generally positive battery life. Many appreciate the heart rate monitoring and notification features, although some wish for improved water resistance and GPS capabilities. The watch's size is a point of contention, with some finding it too large. A few users reported issues with charging and screen problems.

    More comfortable than Charge 2

Originally got the Charge 2 (which I loved). It was my first foray into the Fitbit world, and I really liked that I could get notifications for phone calls and text messages right on my wrist. (Gives me more of a reason to put my phone away.) Decided to upgrade to the Blaze since it has the bigger screen-- I didn't like it much at first since I liked the Charge 2 so much, but it's certainly grown on me. The HR monitor isn't as accurate as the Charge 2 was, but it still tracks my workouts just fine. I have to say though, the biggest plus about this one is that it's more comfortable than the Charge 2. And while many people criticize the Blaze for its "unseemly" gaps on the sides of the frame, I think it gives my skin more room to breathe. This might be why the HR sensor is more off in the Blaze, since the Charge 2 always conformed (too) well to my wrist and sat flush against my skin. It works better for me since it's more wearable this way.

I love love love my blaze. I had actually purchased the Charge 2 first just because I didn't want to spend extra for the blaze, but gosh the Charge was so awful. It's really limited in functionality and I had bruising on my wrist after one day of wearing it. Coincidentally, the Blaze went on sale for the same price as the Charge a few days later so I made an even exchange and couldn't be happier. The Blaze is amazing. I've never had the Apple watch but I assume it's pretty comparable aside from all of the Apple specific features. I love the easy functionality, color screen and ways you can customize everything that shows up on your watch from the app. It's really accurate also very comfy. I sleep with it on a few times a week to keep my resting HR accurate and then on the other nights will switch to my Flex 2, which I have so I can wear it when I want to look more professional at client meetings and such. This watch is definitely worth the money!

I had the Fitbit flex then the Charge HR and decided I was ready to upgrade to the blaze. The Blaze allows me to enter the type of workout I'm doing from my wrist and it's super convenient. I love that I can control my music and read my text messages from my wrist as well. It's awesome.

The fit bit blaze is awesome! It tracks my steps and most importantly my heart rate during physical activity! I don't mind that I have to have the app open to use the gps for pace and distance since I use my phone for music anyway! Love this watch and would definitely recommend!

Lots of good information from a Fitbit device, but it stopped syncing to the phone after a month or so and had to be replaced. Easy enough to do the exchange, but obviously should not have failed so quickly. Lot of other devices out there too, so read plenty of reviews and try to understand what is important to you.

Have used Fitbit in the past and like the products. I purchased Fitbit blaze over Apple Watch because of the onscreen workouts it offered and the cheaper price. This is apparently not completely true...you only get three short (less than 15 minute) "workouts" on the device and you cannot add anything else to it. I feel like I was mislead into thinking I could have workouts on my wrist like Apple Watch does at a smaller price tag. I have returned the blaze and ordered an Apple Watch Good points though; I found the heart rate to be accurate and the steps mostly accurate. It would give me more steps than I was actually taking but not by too much. It was a comfortable fit on my wrist as well (Fitbit surge's heart rate tracker dug into my wrist sometimes and was uncomfortable) Would recommend if the person is not interested in the workouts or apps that the Apple Watch has.

Overall it's a great product and does everything you would expect it to do. It's almost like having an Apple Watch except it's a lot bulkier. That's the only reason I gave it 4 stars, it's too big and bulky to wear full time. I ended up exchanging it for the Fitbit Charge 2 which fits a lot better for everyday use.

Overall, I am loving it. Love the notifications as I am a teacher and this allows me to see my texts and calls subtly. I wish it was a little more accurate with the step count, but the under counting just makes me work harder. Compared to what else is out there on the market, I still feel it is the best for the price.

I'm a paramedic student and we need to have a watch with second hands. There is a theme on the blaze that gives you a second hand!! This is amazing for me. I use it to count steps but more so as a watch. The battery lasts 3 days longer than my charge hr did. It's wonderful.

I've been using this for two months now and it has really helped me keep track of my progress. It also comes with a nifty app that you can use it with. It will track everything from how much food and water you are putting in your body to how much water you are drinking to how many hours of good sleep you are getting.

This device has / does it all! I love the fact that my text messages can be read on the watch screen and it shows me who is calling when I am getting a call. Also, I like the fact that it has ala the fitness possibilities built in so it counts activity correctly.

I love the added features on this tracker. It has color display, with relax (deep breathing exercises), and fitstar with a warm up, 7 minute workout and 10 minute abs workout. I also like that it shows the battery life remaining so it doesn't die on you unexpectedly.

needed to get something for my wife, she really wanted a fitness/activity tracker, but I know she likes watches as well. I cant justify spending hundreds on a fruit logo, and this fit the bill perfectly. One month later she is really liking it, good balance of features.

I bought the Blaze as a Christmas gift for the wife since she had lost her other fit-bit. She loved the device and the features. i got a chance to play with it for about 15 minutes and having a smart watch myself (other brand) i can honestly say this device is quite amazing.

Initially I went back and forth between this and the Apple Watch, but I'm so happy I made the decision to go with the Fitbit blaze. It's stays charged for almost an entire week also it's water resistant so you don't have to be so worried about it getting wet throughout the day.
