I bought this one for my wife and had to go and get one for myself. I had the charge 3, but i really like the new features on the charge 4. the built in GPS means i can go for a run with no phone. I wore mine diving, it tracked my swim and was fine at depth.

My wife needed an activity tracker, not a "smartwatch" or a "sports watch". She's had various Fitbit models before, most recently the Charge 2, but really needed it for steps, sleep, and HR. This was the item that met her needs and for the price - is just great!!

Replaced deceased Charge 2 tracker with this Charge 4. Compared to the old tracker, longer battery life is a plus. Other users noted issues with the low brightness of the display in outdoor sunlight conditions and this is definitely a weak point for this tracker. It is also supposed to give alerts each hour if you haven't reached a 250 step threshold, but mine has never done this despite being set for these alerts. Each of these 2 trackers are also poor at tracking flights of stairs - they frequently miss them when I ascend from the basement or add additional flights in higher heart rate situations or even when simply using power tools.

My first fitness tracker. It's interesting. Even tells me how long I walked or hiked. And steps, calories burned, has gps. Love it.and I found a super cool steampunk wristband on Amazon that fits perfectly, and is much more comfortable than the plastic band it came with.

Can't give it 5 stars because it is my 3rd Fitbit purchase. An Alta HR and Alta before that, both of which crapped out right after the warranty expired. It does have the features I want, though.

Bought this for my mother to track her exercise and heart rate. At first she had a hard time adjusting to it , but she has the hang of it now and wears it everyday. It's a little intimidating for seniors.

Good for tracking steps. Doesn’t always capture biking correctly, counts it as steps as well as biking time. Seems to capture sleep times accurately although I don’t use this feature much.

This is the best fitbit I have purchased. I have worn out two others and my Versa Charge 2 quit about a week before my warranty was to expire. I had an appointment with Geek Squad to check it out but then COVID-19 hit and my visit was supposed to be rescheduled. I was told I would have a ticket opened and would be notified when I could bring my Versa in to have it checked. Didn't happen and I have yet to get satisfaction. I purchased a different wearable that was supposed to be just as good. After about 6 months I found it useless and so I purchased this new fitbit. It does everything with ease that I wanted to have recorded and am absolutely happy with it. I would definitely recommend it for anyone. It was easy to set up and has a longer charge life because the battery keeps going past what I had expected. And the charger is like fast from 0 - full charge!

I've had other fitbit products and I don't regret this purchase one bit. Having a real measure of how long I sleep, what my resting heart rate it and step counts really helps me to gauge how my day will be and was.

This was an upgrade form the HR2. I like the GPS functionality, the ability to review and respond to text messages as the updated features. It measures more fitness activities and is easier to use than the prior version.

After reading a lot of reviews on a wide array of fitness trackers most seemed to agree that this one is the best for its price point and I couldn’t agree more. Very easy to use interface on the watch and the app as well. GPS seems to be fairly accurate as well.

I use my Fitbit everyday. It really helps me keep track of my heart rate and steps. It was easy to synchronize it with my phone to have hands-free. Being able to access my phone calls and text messages with the Fitbit is a big advantage to using it all the time.

Excellent Fitbit, my only grievance is you’re still not allowed to control music from it. Doesn’t look like Fitbit is moving towards that way, especially with Google moving in on other smartwatches/health trackers.

I bought this to replace a Charge 2 and was excited to use the GPS function. I currently use another app through my phone to map my walks and hikes and the embedded GPS was appealing, but I was disappointed to find that using GPS sapped the battery big time. However a recent update has greatly improved the battery life when using the GPS, which is great if you're on streets. On hikes though it has lost the signal a couple of times and is not very useful. The other functions are fine. I think I liked the button and menus of the Charge 2 a little better but I have gotten used to the new ones. The reflective band is pretty sharp and cleans up well. Charge 3 bands are compatible too so there are a ton out there on the market.

I love my charge 4 fitness tracker. knowing how many steps i take in a day motivates me to do more. It makes me want to do more exercises, and drink more water. tracking my sleep, and rest is great. Sorry I waited so long to get it.

My last fitbit was at the end of its life. I wanted an activity tracker that had most of the functionality of my last one but was a little smaller and had the ability to be to perform while not being worn on my wrist.

I’m happy with it, just want to track steps and heart rate, stairs etc, wish i could see the display a little easier, band fits well and the charger cable is much better than my old one which broke

This was also a gift for my brother and he loves this fitbit as it has all the features that he needs. We love the Fitbit family of activity trackers. This one definitely works well for him. Also the price is very reasonable.

Great device if you are getting into tracking your fitness and health. The Fitbit app is one of the best out there when it comes to sports fitness. I have a charge myself and I bought this as a gift to an triathlon athlete

I picked up the watch after checking through reviews and it looked like a solid item. I've owned two fitbits and a couple of the Samsung watches. All nice but the battery time sucks. The Fitbit listed at outstanding battery life, and I could deal with a monochromatic screen. But I couldn't get it to sync with my Note 8... the heart rate monitor was okay and it tracked my daily steps and stuff. However the lack of getting notifications just killed out for me. If you're looking for basic tracking it's not bad but in this daddy and age... maybe not. Returned it.
