Jumps several hundred steps when only a handful are taken. I returned this item for a new one and found the exact same results.

My fitbit isn't what I expected. When you put the fitbit on or you move your arm it counts that as steps taken. So I feel you don't get a true number of steps.

I am very disappointed I cant get it to reset and I haven't been able to link it to the fit bit app. The time is incorrect

Not a great item if you are active, HR monitor works steps skip if to much arm bouncing and no time zone update as you travel

This product fit my need in almost every way: 1. It can auto-track sleep. Super useful, since I fall asleep on my chair randomly. 2. It has a clock, that you can set to activate upon double tapping on the screen (sometimes it takes a few double-taps...) 3. Great color and design... looks very nice, and have gotten a few compliments on it Cons: 1. The unit cannot be removed from the band! This was a major drawback compared to the Flex. I want to be able to potentially swap the band with a custom one. More importantly, I want to wash the band without risk of damaging the actual unit. I'm largely disappointed that they removed this option from the previous Flex. 2. The alarm is very weak, and I would not rely on it to wake me up for an important appointment. Perhaps it has some effect in getting me up, but I cannot recall getting up specifically due to this light vibration. 3. Screen: I have some mild backlight bleeding around the edges of the screen. It's minor, but noticeable. I've gotten used to it already, but it would be perfect if it wasn't here!

I read the reviews of the Fitbit before I bought it. I thought that I had a chance of getting one that would not have a problem with syncing with my smart phone. Not to be. I am very dissatisfied with the Fitbit Charge. I have tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling. It still doesn't work. Reading the very, very fine print on how to return a Fitbit under warranty is also a problem.

Lost the fit bit given poor construction of clasp. BUMMER!!

Returned this one as it just did not do everything I wanted it to and now I wear the Apple Watch!

The strap broke then the charger part snapped. Not a strong enough product!!

This fitbit was inaccurate. It starts your day out with 500 step. The distances are a lie

did everything it said it does, charging part may be a hassle if you wear it 24/7

wrist band does not stay attached clock must have software type of problems

It's a good gadget to have. Keeps tracks of the things and need and use.

Not sure if mine were defective but without even moving it was tracking steps.

This is my fifth device and so far it's OK at least it counts the steps, but the Bluetooth really sucks. It makes my Plantronics headset disconnect all of the time.

Not worth the money. Band fell apart two times. Returned it twice

Back cover came loose after 4 months and eventually broke off completely

Not for kids! Bought for my eight-year-old son and he had to return

i exchanged this charge for alta right after the alta came out.
