Fitbit Charge Wireless Activity Tracker: Designed for all-day wear, this comfortable tracker lets you monitor and log your everyday routines, from your eating and sleeping habits to calories burned. Review your running stats and incoming calls at a glance without ever breaking stride.
Q: What is the difference between the $99.99 fitbit and the $129.99 fitbit?
A: The fitbit charge ($129) has a clock (military time also if you prefer) and incoming calls display on its face. There are numerous silent alarms which can be set to vibrate. The fitbit flex ($99) only has a row of lights to display your progress. Although, the flex, has the option of interchangeable colored wrist bands. I've had both and prefer the charge.
Q: waterproof or water resistant?
A: Splash proof, will handle rain, sweat, splashing while washing hands. It is not waterproof and needs to be taken off for showering and swimming.
Q: How do I know what size I need to order?
A: Aloha Barb, Small fits 5.5" - 6.7" Large fits 6.3" - 7.9" X-Large fits 7.8" - 9.1"
A: The Fitbit Charge does not monitor heart rate. There is a Fitbit HR that does.
A: I have a droid ( Samsung galaxy ) and have not had any problems syncing my tracker to the phone. As long as you can download the App onto your phone and you have your Bluetooth and WiFi enabled you shouldn't have any issues.
Q: If you don't have a smartphone, how do you retrieve the info?
A: You can sync your Fitbit activity tracker with any Android, PC, or iOS device.
Q: Does the Charge have to be charged and if so is the charger included ?
A: Yes. Battery charge lasts approximately one week. The charger is included to plug into a USB.
Q: Does this model tell time/function as a watch also?
A: Yes the Fitbit charge has time. I wear mine as a watch.
