I had used a regular charge for a month now. It worked very well, but started having battery issues. I went to exchange it and they had some of the HR charges in stock, so I grabbed one. Initial Sync worked ok, but the software update did not want to work with my phone. I later tried updating it with my phone, and it worked just fine.

I got the Fitbit because I do a lot of walking at work so I was curious as to just how much walking I do in a day. However I became aware after I bought it that unless you are swinging your arms while walking it doesn't register your steps. A lot of the walking I do in a day I am pushing carts around, so the step tracker isn't counting any of these steps. I have also realized that half of the time it doesn't register when I am taking the stairs and other times it says I have climbed stairs and I haven't. I am generally satisfied with it when it does work, I just wish some of the kinks could be worked out.

I use to have the Fitbit Force until it was recalled, I use to LOVE it. I tried the Garmin and had horrible experiences, now with the Fitbit Charge I am completely satisfied. It is just like the Force but better. Much sturdier and has more functionalities. When my phone is on silent, the watch will vibrate once to let you know someone is calling (when connected to bluetooth). It is perfect for what i wanted.

This was an excellent gift. It was easy to set up an use. Connects easily to the App.

Bought this because I didn't think the heart rate monitor was that necessary. Size fitted well as described on the box. Device synced well with my android phone. Make sure the battery lasts a few days. Mine was OK for a week then it lasted only 6 hours before going flat. However, fitbit customer support sent a replacement.

The Fitbit is very useful when tracking sleep patterns.
