Love my smartwatch use the exercise apps, including tracking my steps and for golf. The alarm clock and timer. I prefer the sense for exercising compared to my apple watch. The sense is very reliable and the battery life is great

I will preface my review by noting that I owned a Fit Ionic for more than three years, and that I absolutely loved it. When I got the Fitbit Sense, I was super excited. I care a lot about fitness and all of the new features seemed exciting. Unfortunately, after I wore my new sense for a week, I noticed a big problem - the heart rate monitor was wildly inaccurate during exercise sessions. I used my polar heart rate monitor to confirm that the fit bit was off by alot. My heart rate would be at 165 during intense training and my Sense would have it at 110-120. After doing some research, I discovered this is a pretty widespread complaint on fitbit's own forums, one which the company has yet to address or even comment on. Contacting customer service is frustrating, as they read from a script telling you to check the watch's positioning, that lots of factors go into heart rate measurement etc. My friend's apple watch does not have this problem, nor does my old fitbit ionic. It is clearly a software issue. So what to do with a $300 fitness watch that cannot measure the most simple and basic function of exercise? How do I trust anything about this watch if it cannot get this right? Unfortunately, you cant. Dont get me wrong - it is sharp looking, gets compliments, and tells time. If you are just looking for an expensive watch and nothing else, go ahead and buy. If you are looking for actual fitness measurements and support, look elsewhere.

Easy to use, lots of data. Baseline data can be used to track changes in normal heart rate, skin temp, oxygen saturation.

My Versa 2 was damaged and I replaced it with this Sense. The battery in my Versa 2 would last a good five days. The battery on this lasts only two days. Might be a setting or clock face difference, but I can’t figure it out. I went with another Fitbit over Apple because of the battery life, so I’m a little disappointed. Other than that, it works. I also liked the band that came with the Versa 2 over this new band, but I’m getting use to it. I’d probably make the same purchase again.

Bought this for the wife's birthday, she seems happy so far. The quality is good, but it does have some inaccurate readings. My wife is a Nurse, so she pointed out many flaws with the health diagnostics on the device. These devices are never going to be 100% accurate, and based on the previous models I owned they accuracy still isn't great. The call feature is horrible and audio cuts out consistently. The only thing that worked decently was the distance tracked while riding a bike.

Very disappointed with this watch. Battery only lasts a day or two, not the 6 days+ advertised. I love the look but in general it’s not that much better than my old Fitbit Versa.

I have been a Fitbit customer since it’s inception. Not impressed with the Sense. There have been noticeable enhancements in each new style up until the Sense. Might have the worst connectivity issues out of all the fitbits I have owned. Heart rate monitor is also extremely erratic. Have done all the trouble shooting steps and the issues have still not been resolved. If I could do it again would have saved the money and went with the Versa, which my wife loves.
