Customers consistently note the excellent button quality, particularly the drift-proof Hall Effect sticks, and appreciate the comfortable, familiar ergonomics. They also praise its quick responsiveness, effective two-stage trigger stoppers, and lightweight design. However, a recurring concern among customers is that the controller's size is too small.

    Perfection for a Wired Controller!

One thing I didn't like about the PlayStation 5 controller was its size. What I didn't like about the new Xbox controller was that it felt kinda like sandpaper. This controller is the perfect size. It doesn't feel like sandpaper on my hands. I absolutely love the floral design. The lights are fascinating. The analog sticks have moving lights and the buttons and trigger have lights that flicker on press. Two programmable back buttons work flawlessly. What I like about the wired feature is that it doesnt randomly disconnect while you are playing.

The GameSir - T7 Pro Wired Controller for Xbox Series X|S|One, Windows, and more offers amazing responsiveness, controllability, and features to make your gaming experience more memorable and productive. It is all about winning, so why not use the best controller to help you achieve this? The wired control bring less lag, more control, and faster response than traditional wireless Xbox controllers. The look and design ensure it is something you will want to pick up again and again. The addition of customizable buttons ensure you can play the way you want to for the best experience. I found this controller to be a great alternative to the wired controller. It feels good in the hands and I did not experience fatigue after several hours. The additional buttons are well-placed and not in the way should you choose not to use them, but are fairly easy to get used to if you do. I was happy that the USB cable was long, but for my particular Xbox setup, the cord was a burden and about 1 foot shorter than I needed so I had to change things up to sit closer. While I really like this controller, I will be using it as a back up for dead batteries or on my PC as it is less practical than I need with the cord attached. PROS - GameSir quality and innovation - Compatiabilty and flexibility across consols and platforms - Long USB braided cord will hold up for a long time - Feels good in the hands - Customizable features CONS - Corded is just not a good fit for me needs, but will work as a backup for a dead battery in a pinch or when gaming via comptuer.

TL;DR - the GameSir T7 Pro wired controller is a solid option for those who don't mind wired game play and are looking to jump into the world of Hall effect controllers. Both sticks and the triggers are very accurate, the face buttons feel solid - especially for membrane, and the backlighting is a nice touch for those who game in dark rooms. This works just as well for Windows and Linux gaming systems as it does for Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One consoles, and the translucent green plastic is a nice nod to the custom Xboxes of the past (specifically the Halo and Mt. Dew editions). It's also priced right for a wired controller at it's regular price, and the included month of GamePass Ultimate is a nice added bonus. Unboxing and setup: The packaging is pretty simple - the controller, a nice cloth-wrapped USB-A to USB-C cable, and the instruction, warranty, and GamePass literature. Connect the USB cable between the controller and your console or computer, and you're good to go. The nearly 10 foot length of the cable is handy for dorm rooms, bedrooms, and theater rooms where your console or computer is in the back of the room instead of by the screen, but it's not what I'd recommend for most living rooms. You'll want the GameSir Nexus app for your Windows machine or Xbox so you can configure the back buttons and adjust the lighting to a comfortable level. You'll also need this for the occasional firmware update (which likely will add additional functionality in the future). Usage: It's comfortable, for the most part. The grips do feel like etched hard plastic, but they don't slip and, unlike soft-touch plastics, they don't feel gummy or oily after a longer play session. The backlights are handy if you're new to the Xbox controller layout and want to make sure you're pressing the right face buttons. Also, the lights around both analog sticks are useful if you're an analog stick user for fighting games, as they'll help you with combos; these lights would have been great for the D-pad as well. As for the Hall effect sticks, they remained comfortable and accurate after playing for hours on end. I haven't had this controller long enough to speak about it's longevity, but I have two other GameSir controllers for my son's Switch that are 4 years old and not drifting. The triggers are great. Full analog sweeps for racing games like Forza, Assetto Corsa, F1, and Project Cars is handy, but being able to hit a switch to make the triggers more button-like is great for platformers like Cuphead, Sackboy's Big Adventure, and fighters like Mortal Kombat, Tekken, and Street Fighter. The headphone jack is a nice touch for those that need it. Any standard 3.5mm-connected headphone with microphone will work. Was there anything I wasn't really into? Nope. I'm just looking forward to updates that allow me to tweak the lighting. The included month of Game Pass Ultimate was also a nice touch. All in all, the GameSir T7 Pro wired controller is a solid option for those who are looking for a wired controller with all the bells and whistles without the price tag.

This controller has been hands down the best one yet! I’m so glad I took the chance and got this. I had done some research and found this controller fit all my needs. This has a great dock with the option of using either Bluetooth or RF. The RF dongle conveniently is attached to the bottom of the dock which you can then plug into your PC and use RF without taking up and additional USB port. Firmware is easy to keep up to date and mapping the buttons is very straight forward and intuitive. The user friendly software you can install on your desktop is simple and basic. Not sure on Linux compatibility though. Will test in near future as I do game on Bazzit and a Steamdeck as well. The controller is very comfortable in the hands no larger or heavier than the standard Xbox controller. I love that I can flip the triggers to short throw and back to full trigger pulls depending on the game. All in all this is a must have in your controller arsenal if you want something a bit more than the standard controller. The options and customization is great in addition to the wireless PC capabilities. Some of the cons I’d mention that if you are using this on an Xbox console wired is the only way to use this controller. This goes for streaming and emulation controller pass through. Other than what I stated this thing is a home run!

    Best wired controller hands down!

I'm hard on game controllers. A friend has been recommending GameSir controllers for a while. The T7 pro is very light and initially feels flimsy, but that's incorrect. It's a tough controller for sure. Response is immediate, so much so that it took a few days to get used to how responsive it is. My FPS gameplay has improved by a noticeable factor now that I'm not compensating for a sub-par controller. NO stick drift. Positive click from thumb sticks. ABXY buttons respond nicely. It's tunable in the Xbox interface. Definitely take time playing around with the settings. It's more responsive than I could imagine. Triggers have a 2 position adjustment. Regular pull, and mouse click. Rear paddles can be mated to any other button press. My only issue is the way the rear paddles are positioned, I have been accidentally pressing them when I haven't meant to. I think they could be a little smaller to accommodate larger hands without affecting those with smaller or average hands. Vibration works extremely well, and varies intensity while playing. Farther away things vibrate less, while close up has more intensity. Definitely recommend!

This controller is really high quality. You can feel the quality just by holding it. It is still lightweight though. The Hall Effect sticks are super responsive and I know they’ll work long term since Hall Effect use sensors to prevent drift and keep them in good working order. All the buttons are super responsive and the fact that it’s wired is a plus and not a drawback. The ambient lighting adds some really cool effects. It also comes with a 10 foot USB-A to USB-C cable which makes the fact that it’s not wireless a non-concern. The buttons are also super comfortable, especially the engraved joysticks. It really feels like a premium controller and so far has worked anybody with both my Xbox systems - Series X and S, and also my gaming PC. The GameSir Nexus app for Windows allows you to custom map buttons, adjust vibration settings, and also update the firmware. Overall, I really like this controller and plan to make it my primary one for PC and Xbox gaming. You can also change the lighting effects with the app. Overall, I highly recommend this controller!

This review includes input from my daughter (31 years old). Overall, I really enjoyed using the GameSir T7 Pro Wired Controller. The design was lightweight, and the controller felt comfortable in my hands. I had no issues moving around while using it, and the 10‑foot cable provided plenty of length to sit comfortably on my couch. The controller included two extra mappable buttons on the back. While this was a cool feature, I found myself accidentally pressing them during gameplay. Since I hadn’t mapped them, it didn’t affect my gaming experience, but I could see it becoming frustrating if they were assigned to in‑game actions. I also enjoyed the lighting effects while the controller was in use, and I liked that the lights turned off when the controller entered sleep mode. It made it easy to tell when the controller was active. The triggers were responsive with good resistance, and the buttons felt smooth and easy to use. I didn’t notice any input lag, and gameplay felt smooth overall. The controller also had an audio jack with a dedicated mute button. I was able to plug in my headset easily, and the sound quality was good. The mute button was a nice added feature. The controller is compatible with both Xbox and PC, and I expect it will get a lot of use from both of us. Other note: This controller was tested on an Xbox One while playing Fortnite and browsing the store.

You, GameSir, have created the perfect entry-level controller for PC Gamers to get started and dip their feet into the world of Hall Effect sticks. With the nostalgic retro green Xbox lighting, you'll be reminded of the XB1 glory days. Everything feels solid and buttons are responsive. For the price, you cannot beat this offering. The T7 Pro W is extremely simple and easy to setup. Just remove the controller and long hi quality braided USB cable, plug it in, and you'll hear it connect to your USB indicating it was recognized. The light in the controllers will turn on, and you know you are good to go. You can adjust brightness and turn the lighting on and off in app. If you want to customize, go to the MS Store and download and get the Gamesir Nexus app to make it truly yours. This works well with Steam and Xbox Game Pass along with PC gaming. There is an extra set of buttons you can program to whatever you like. This controller is simply everything you need at the right price. VERDICT IS… YES, especially for your 1st ever!

This is one of nicest little wired Xbox controllers I have used. The USB connection cable is plenty long enough and is a heavy duty cool green color. It worked effortless out of the box as soon as it was plugged in. It has a nice looking green glow lighting and this is super helpful in low light conditions. It is slightly smaller than a standard Xbox controller and much lighter due to not having an internal battery. There are two easy to reach programmable buttons on the back and trigger locks to set your trigger pull preferences. Play feel is smooth and the buttons are responsive. It allows long play sessions without the tiredness usually experienced with heavy wireless controllers. The finish is smoother than a standard Xbox controllers and can get a little more slippery during intense gaming. Overall, it is a great primary controller if you do not like to charge or replace controller batteries. It also makes a handy backup to use when your wireless batteries do need charged or replaced at the worst time.

The GameSir T7 Pro Wired Controller has been a nice surprise for me to review. Controllers today all come with the standard setup of face buttons, shoulder buttons, and triggers, so it’s refreshing to have a few extra options while gaming. While it doesn’t feature four paddles underneath the controller, it does include a very comfortable extra button that can easily be pressed with your ring, middle, or pinky finger—whatever feels most natural. I was able to simply plug the controller into my console via USB and start playing. GameSir also offers app support on the Xbox Series X, which was easy to download and set up. From there, I was able to program four different profiles with my preferred button mappings. Switching between profiles is simple: just hold the “M” button located at the bottom of the controller’s face and press A, B, X, or Y depending on how you have your profiles configured. The thumbsticks feel terrific on this controller. The buttons are responsive and clicky without feeling cheap. The triggers and bumpers also feel great, and the trigger lock feature is a nice addition. While the controller isn’t doing anything revolutionary with its design or functionality, it’s perfect for players who want a few extra button options, solid app support, and an affordable $50 price point. Overall, this controller is a no-brainer.
