Needs a sharper eye. Even at 1080p resolution, i have to be very close to the vehicle in front of me to see their license plate, it's always important to know when something that requires attention happens, not necessarily an accident. Needs a better dynamic range. If a license plate is looking straight at the sunlight, my dashcam will see nothing but a blinding white color. The cam is fast and i love the ability of built-in wifi so i can upload the content to my smartphone and have a backup copy. Very accurate speedometer, and stunning angle of view. I give it a 3.9 star

Quit working after about three months but after contacting Garmin they replaced it with a refurbished unit which is working fine for now Will see how this one lasts

I have had this for several months. Have not had any problems. Luckily I have not had to review any footage. I like the alerts for lane departure, front end collision warning, when traffic in front of you moves, and red light camera ahead.

Love the video qualities and audio. And easy access to the videos. I didn’t like the audio playback from the device though. Keep making some clicking noise..

Very good quality recording. Would suggest going to next model up for voice control however. Can be a long reach to trigger save depending on where your camera is mounted.

I really like this Cam, it lets you know when traffic starts moving, if you are to close and if you get off the road...seems like it would be annoying, but it could save you! The cam is small and sits up out of the way. You really need one in these crazy days!

I have dash cams in every vehicle. This camera is great. I was previously rear ended at a red stop light and helped prove that is was not my fault. The police reviewed the recording and reported what happened in the police report.

This is my first dash cam. Works great. Easy to access via my IPhone . Upgraded to the suction cup glad I did. Easy to switch between my cars . Definitely upgrade to the parking cable makes it easy to just turn car and go.

I have the DashCam 55 in my car. Needed a camera for a second vehicle. Didn’t need the voice command of the 55 the only difference between the two. They work lane departure warning. Great deal got the park power cable for free

After someone’s car I know was hit by a hit&run, then claimed to the police it was the other way around, I added this to the wife’s vehicle. We sleep better at night. This camera is small and unobtrusive doing exactly what we need.

Garmin delivers another great product with this dash cam. Easy setup. Just download the app on your phone and you’ll have full access on your saved contents. Quality is great @1080p you’re able to to see clear images and videos.

Bought this dashcam due to the thousands of miles I drive around the country. Easy to hook up and download videos and pics to your cellphone. Won't drive another mile without having one in my car.

The camera quality is amazing. I bought one as a birthday gift for someone. They really love it. You can access all your recordings via Bluetooth on your phone and save videos directly to your phone. Not to mention gps compatibility.

This camera isn't the best but it does get the job done. It has all these features that let you know that your Getting to far from your lane and also has the collision detection warning.

This is a great camera. You just have to turn off some of the extra features. Make sure you get the parking mode wire to make the camera even better

And it lowered my insurance rates! Incredible purchase, video quality and most importantly, when the world has cel phones all around you recording the after, I have the before, during and after. Great purchase.

Garmin makes a nice product you can even view ur footage thru the app

I like the smaller size and additional features. The only drawback is that the Cam tends to wander (doesn't hold position, tends to tip down over time).

I’ve only had this for a few weeks but the quality is excellent both in build and video. Love the low profile mounting as well. Very happy with this item and the price I paid for it. WiFi download is a little slow but works well.
