* Very solid 1080p video resolution when viewing from computer * Only 160 degree capture. (was hoping for 180 degree instead) * Came with 8 GB, but I switched to 64GB sd card, and got 12-13 hours out of it... * Didn't really like the glue-on magnet that come with it - which made a small ugly black dot permanently stuck on my front windshield... * Lane-change warning and Forward Collision warning features worked but not as good in my opinion - too many false warnings -- or none when a car is changing lane in front of me all of sudden...

It's a great camera it would very nice to have some other dash mounting options. It got a 4 on ease of use for mounting.

Even though you can buy a basic "dash-cam" for 1/3 the price, this one is so superior that it is a good value. I particularly like the quality build, easy setup and highly automated operation. I recommend this little Garmin.

So far, I like it. I like That the screen shuts off automatically. I had to turn off the lane warning and distance warning. A lil red light shows it’s recording. Seen it has a overheating issue, but haven’t had a issue

I absolutely love this dash cam. It warns you when traffic is moving, when your too close to a vehicle, or when you are going over your lane. The video can sync with your phone, so you can save the files.

It worked for me against a ticket a police officer was trying to give me. That was a proud moment. However, when I received another ticket for a stop sign, the card inside the camera was faulty and the camera didn't save anything. I was very upset but I have a part to blame b/c I didn't keep maintenance but it just sucked. I ended upgrading to the newer model.

Got this because a woman ran a red light and I broadsided her. She insisted that she had the green. Thankfully two people stopped an confirmed she ran a red. My car was totaled. This is vital if there are no witnesses.

People did not believe what I see out here while driving a semi. That was until I showed them! People drive like this is a contact sport. At least when bad things happen you have proof that was not your fault.

Camera takes great video and stills....but after about 3 weeks I noticed the record light wasn't on, so i tried to play it back and see when it stopped recording but it wouldn't open and would freeze. Brought it to the geek squad and they couldn't find out what was wrong so they replaced it with no hassle. So far I've had this one a week and no problems. Hopefully it was just a bad unit and not a common problem but only time will tell

The Garmin 45 is an outstanding camera. I love that it has built in Wi-Fi and that you can connect your phone to it to save videos. The only problem I have with this is the app you must download in order to save/view videos. The app will freeze and trimming the video down to size to catch the incident is a frustrating task. I would still recommend this camera to anyone who wants to protect their vehicle and themselves while traveling.

I just had an accident and the other driver was at fault. He told the insurance company that I hit him. Video doesn't lie... needless to say, his insurance is getting my car fixed.

Best dash cam I have ever had, it has good quality and senses when an incident has happened can’t complain at all, definitely recommend.

It does it’s job enough to accurately see what is going on, but not enough to see licenses plate letters and numbers.

If only got this before the accident, its easy to use however hot immediately and poor in battery

I got this for my gf for her new car. It is really easy to use and just a quick info. When you buy this dash cam you would need to buy wire connector and also have to them $50 for the installation.

This is a great little device with easy functionality. My only advice is to make sure you go theough all of the settings and options to make sure you turn off or on some of the driver assist settings.

Bought this dash cam and its the best investment. I love the fact that it has many features but the one I love the most is the fact that it records your speed which helps when fighting speeding tickets.

Was a really nice camera. Packaged well, securely. I did end up returning because it didn’t have a reverse camera as well. I would still recommend to anyone who didn’t require a reverse camera.

Bought this camera to record the pic up and drop off of my kid to the ex, just in case I need proof of something.....
