Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First of all for the price of this dash cam I expected a lot better, it supposed to have a magnetic mount that I have yet to discover, all I got was a sticky octagon shaped thing that you peel off and stick to the window. Not a lot of settings. It comes with a piece of paper with pictures of the camera but it doesn't explain anything so bot sure how that is called a guide, some of the features do not work properly. I had a Thinkware dash cam that was cheaper and with better functionality than this, I just got this because my Thinkware didn't have a screen, yet works better than this Garmin.

Posted .Sorry for the confusion. After you stick the dash cam mount to the windshield, you can simply pull the camera and the mount from the windshield. The metal disc remains attached to the windshield. This link will take you to the online owner’s manual: https://bit.ly/2M9z8Oy

However it does not change the quality of it. I love the permanent placement verses the suction type. I hope that it works longer than my last one. I love my garmin GPS so if this dash cam lasts anything close I will be even happier.

The app syncs well on my iPhone 8, and you can also plug the camera into a computer for retrieval of photos or video. I did replace the microSD card with a 64gB card, but otherwise, very happy with this garmin product.

It's nearly half the size of the model 35. It reports too close following distance, lane departure, red light camera advisories (requires subscription) and provides great photos. The new magnetic mount is awesome. I really like this Garmin Dash Cam.

Got on black friday deal and have done several long drives with it so far. Lane assist and crash warnings are not very useful, but red-light and speed cam traps are not bad. Already used footage to report a reckless Uber driver to NYC TLC :)

Has lane sensor, speed sensor as well as camera. Check with your insurance as well they may give discount on premiums it’s a camera and could show cause of accident if one occurs.
