He loves the features of the camera, lane change or getting to close to other vehicles, wishes it had a suction cup to mount to wind shield!

Great little product does what it was designed to do “records”. Detaches easily when needed. Optional extras are ok too however they don’t work like factory warning systems do.

Still working the issues. Only major issue so far is that I could not replace the memory card with a larger one that I purchased.

Works fine for the wife. Has a mind of its own if it is not centered directly looking down the road giving false lane wander alarms.

This camera works well so far. I used a suction cup from my previous camera and glued it to my new camera and can now easily move from from one car to another.

Awesome dash cam! Does it's job very well, I love all of the alerts they are very helpful. Only issue I had was with the charger but got a new one and have had no other issues.

The Garmin 45 dash cam with full HD is a wonderful starter dash cam, lane assist is a nice add-up, red light warning is also a plus but it would be more nicer if its free. Don't forget to buy the wire to make the parking mode useful.

We used the camera for the first time on a road trip out west. It was fun to see what we captured along the way using the time lapse feature. The camera is tiny, and fits nicely behind the rear view mirror. It conveniently attaches with a magnet rather than Velcro.

Unobtrusive and wire hid nicely in headliner for a clean install. iPhone app for downloading videos is a little clunky but works.

I purchase on july 18,2019 the camera is okay not the best specially to see license plates . I knew i had 14 days to return but kept being persistent. After it fell , I went to target Bought 3M double sided tape it didn't work then Velcro and didn't do the trick either . The temperature in the car is 70 -90F depending in the day. The magnet with the adhesive on one side does no justice, So much so it scratched my 1 month new car radio Im very upset .

Very small and discrete, even people in my car can't tell it's there unless they hear one of the 3 warnings go off (which are life-savers). The phone app is very intuitive and makes it easy to save pictures and videos when needed. All round great product.

This worked ok, however there was unexplainable latency with the on screen display (gps, speed) compared to actual events. For example, when I would start driving, it would register that I was still stationary until a few seconds later. It would also do the same for the inverse, moving to stopped. It would also sporadically show that I was moving when I hadn't been. I returned this and bought the upgraded 46 model and haven't had any issues.

The only part i can review is the part where the power supply needs additional hardware so that it can bypass the cigar lighter. I already have one for my gps, i would need a special installation so that i could power this device, which i wasn't willing to buy aside from the camera, when other dash cams come equipped with installation parts. If it becomes on sale again, ill get the 46, i think that one has the required hardware included.

A picture is worth a thousand word and add in the time and date stamp and if your Right and not at fault the courts love it and insurance companies hate it. YOU MUST ADD PARKING FEATURE for hit and run and break ins when parked.

I love this camera except for the mounting system. If you have more than 1 vehicle the mount makes it hard to move. Older models had a more universal mounting system

I'm not sure what I was expecting but this unit is way too small for big hands. video quality is good.

Mounting instructions were not the greatest. Or maybe I was being dense. Everything else was really easy. Camera seems to function as promised.

Has the main features I was looking for. One issue is that it doesn't like the charging cable that came with it, although it does charge the device.

This is my first dashcam. Works great! Hopefully won't have to use it! One thing that I would have liked is to be able to review video without having to connect every time. If I'm home I have to go into my truck to set it up.

It goes off all the time. It's made for a dash cam, however if it get's so called to hot then it goes off!!
