It kept turning off and eventually it would not turn on again. I opened the device to see if I can replace the battery, but you can't put it back together once you disassemble it.

The specs indicate that temperatures over 130* will damage the components of this dash cam. I don’t know about you, but I know that when my truck is locked up in the summer with the windows rolled up it gets to be way over 130*.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend Quit Working After 4 Months

Not sure what happened but after some minor troubleshooting Garmin customer service gave me an RMA and I sent it back to them. I received my replacement within 2 weeks of mailing the broken one. So far no issues on the new unit, but time will tell.
