Contact Garmin. They sent a refurbished one and that one does it too. For peace of mind purchase the extended warranty.

The screens will change randomly on its own and it will stop your navigation in the process. I have been on the phone with Garmin and they can't seem to fix this issue, then after going through all the steps with garmin, it has for some reason rejected my SD card. Definitely going to be returning it. Garmin wants me to send it to them so they can send me a refurbished one but I didn't buy a refurbished one, so no.

Would not buy

However, when picking the bus option, none of the truck reporting stuff is active. None or the trip reports, or IFTA. It acts just like the 770 RV gps. Looks to me like they just put the 770 truck and the 770 rv software on an android tablet and called it good. If you pick bus, it runs the RV program. If you pick truck, it runs the truck program. No wonder you need to have a SD card installed to update your maps, all of the androids tablets memory is being used up. Would not recommend this gps to any professional driver.

The charger for this device was not adapted
