Could het my old harmon to update, so I bought a new one. It needed to be updated straight out of the box. Paid way to much for an out of date garmin. They need a AC charger in the box when purchased.

Posted .All of our devices allow the user to create a custome route. Please visit our support center here, https://support.garmin.com/en-US/. There you will find steps for using the built in Trip Planner app. There you can build a custom route step by step and even shape to roads you prefer.

Posted .Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry that the GPS has stopped working. When a device won’t power on a soft reset often resolves the issue. Connect the device to a power source with a USB cable, vehicle power cable, or an AC adapter. Press and hold the power button for 10 to 15 seconds. Once the device powers on I would suggest fully charging the battery. If you’re unable to get the device powered on, Garmin Product Support would be happy to offer additional assistance. The mic for speaking addresses is horrible Should give you multiple routes instead of just one The route said gives, aren't always the fastest, and sometimes has you take the long way, Even though the faster route is truck approved. Warning messages and text messages stay up too long, they should let you customize a timer on notifications. Sometimes it freezes and takes almost 10 minutes to restart, that's unacceptable
