This is my second Garmin GPS. It is easy to use and works well.

Exactly what I needed for an elderly driver. Updated maps and easy to use experience.

not as easy as my old one the new one is not as easy

I would give five stars if, the maps were updated with it.

The gps provided excellent driving instructions. The graphics are very clear.

No traffic update or alerts. What good is a GPS without that feature. A useless piece of equipment. They forget to say this clearly in the description!! Information only appears on the Q & A. And now I can't return it. Gd it.

My Girlfriend preferred to use her phone navigation and I returned it.

This is a Christmas gift but I am very sure it will be fine!

Great, the only drawback is no verbal destination.

Sadly, it was a bad purchase. It gave out and took me to a strange place in Leominster. Thankfully, my cousin was home and got me righted. Then it wouldn't start the next day. I stopped to ask for help. It took me to a dead end street and failed. I had to call police for help as I had no idea where I was. Thankfully others allowed me to follow them so that I could get back on the highway home. It completely broken. I'm grateful to the Marlborough, MA store team that allowed me to return it broken with a full refund.

Turns off even when the display timeout option is off. It will continue to stay on if you cancel the shut down mode if you catch it before it turns off. Other than that its ok. Does the job.

Exactly what I wanted and so much needed for my husband.

I bought a Garmen gps and am very unhappy with it. I'm not very tech savy so I made an appt with geek squad to update maps. I told them we were leaving on a road trip and they were good about doing it quickly. When I got home I tried to put in the addresses and could not do it. I called the geek squad and was unable to get anyone to help me. I then printed out the map on my computer. I was a nervous wreck trying to follow a printed map to Florida and am very upset with BestBuy.

I was frustrated with the change in location process that I returned it immediately. The locator did not change to my State and I had to go through hoops entering my State.

I had difficulty navigating through the screen. Need a bigger GPS.

Didn’t like it slow freezes out of date old charging

I live in Western NY and the unit kept searching for addresses in Ontario, Canada first - and only. Noone from Best Buy or the Geek Squad could figure out what to do with it.

Never bought it. Service at Schaumburg location wasn’t great.

I love it. I wanted a non wi-fi device and just simple. It's faster then my several year old Tom Tom. I never had a Garmin before but I use it on a daily basis for my job. I did update the map but on a dsl connection, it took quiet a while. So if you're the same, start the download before bed. It's fast and with the new map, I have yet to see a problem with directions. Also it's packed with many features like searching for particular places. And being that I use it on a daily bases, ahh very helpful. Like looking for restaurants, hardwares, auto part stores, etc etc. Very helpful. And it gives you a rating, how long it takes to get there and milage. It tells you at a glance, so no need to go through several screens to get more info for a destination. I like how it turns on and off everytime I start the car and shut it off. No need to mess with it. Cons: It comes with a cigarette lighter plug and not a usb cord. So if you don't have a cigarette lighter in your car, you will have to get the proper cord. Also just like lot's of GPS's , it's not very smart sometimes and just gives you the straightest route , instead of the most commonsense route. But i'm sure that's why some GPS units are $400-$700. But i'm a daily user and it does very well.
