Okay. But keeps getting the distance wrong and then readjusts when approaching a turn.

Love the size but no perks. Was going to get the Tom Tom 60s but out of stock.

I'm learning, my previous Garmin "died", so I went to store for a replacement

First of all I picked this model because we were going to Canada and I saw a review that said this model included Canadian maps. It did not. Next I tried to program the USA addresses for our trip and it could find most of them with out many tries. When we pulled out of the drive way it said "Cannot calculate the route" and it never did. We had a very old TomTom so we went back and got it. It saved us. The guy I called from Garmin was not helpful and made me fell like it was user error. It was not. The only 2 addresses it did calculate gave a 20 min. longer route time than the TomTom. Total waste of money. I returned it to Best buy.

Average gps..didnt like the features or updated version..

I hooked it up before leaving parking lot so I could try it out on the way home. Seemed to be working fine for a couple miles. I got on the highway and set my cruise. Speed on GPS had been matching truck up to that point. Speed limit was 65 and all of a sudden the GPS showed about 10MPH faster. It then dropped about 5mph and then went up to about 15mph over what the truck was doing. The truck stayed steady on cruise this whole time. While I had it I tried setting in trips and finding different locations. I wasn't impressed with it. I returned the unit 2 days later and bought a different unit.

I just got this new Garmin and look forward to trying it

I went with a different Garmin that seemed to have a better screen and better deal. I prefer my iPhone over any of them

This Garmin has a number of good features but is is deficient in important tools. First it fails to locate a number of well know addresses that it should be able to locate. Further, it lists only one route thus failing to give the user the choice of alternate routes. Moreover, it locks in on one state and it is nightmare to get it to find an address in another state. All of this creates a unsatisfactory experience for identifying routes and finding desired addresses.

I expected more from this unit. It seemed to lag behind too many times. I would be past the street I was supposed to turn on and then it would give me the direction to turn. In other words, the gps needed correcting but I could not figure out how that was possible with this unit. It also would not give me a heads up that we were to be turning in the next 100 yards etc. I tried several different settings but it was just not giving good navigational directions. I believe this unit was defective and therefore returned.

this device is just the same as the one I had before. no improvement

Returned Garmin GPS to store. We kept getting lost with its directions.Was told we needed to download programs to operate Was not told this at time of purchase. Never had to with my old Garmin GPS.

This GPS is horrible. I asked for assistance at the store and the associate said this was the most user friendly... It has taken my husband to places he never wanted.. When he returns from his trip it is going right back to the store.... DO NOT BUY!!!

i returned item because were not told had to have acces to windows on computer to register and update

Have had older Garmins and they were all easy and intuitive to use. This is not and I am very disappointed in its performance.

Unit wouldn't interface through my computer to even register. Returned the unit.

Witch never knows how to get me where I need to go

This Garmin navigation system has a large screen which makes it easier for someone new at using navigation to follow the directions. The audio instructions are good too and accurately describe the directions well in advance. By default it comes with limited maps and so after turning it on for the first time you need to upgrade the maps from the Garmin website which takes approx 30-40 min and the process is pretty simple. The suction mount is easy to install on your windshield and it has a pretty strong hold, so you don't have to worry about it coming out while driving. However I found the touch is a little less responsive as compared to cell phones. On a couple of occasions, after coming close to the destination it re-directed me and I went back in the direction I came from, maybe something to do with some settings, I don't know. Otherwise its a good navigation system to have in your car.

The Garmin-Drive 60 LM 6 is a great device for navigation. It includes many helpful features such as road hazard warnings, your fatigue level, notification of lane to be in for turns where multiple lanes are involved, and a lifetime supply of automatically downloaded maps. I love it!
