FREE lifetime map updates are a definite plus! I have only used it a few times & have been very happy. I've had 2 previous garmins & were happy with them, but each updated one proves to be better. This is an easy transition from my previous Garmin - not too much different in using it! I like that it BINGS if I miss a turn. I didn't really miss the "recalculating-recalculating" of my first Garmin...but missed not having any notification if I wasn't paying attention & took an early & WRONG exit!

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I expect to charge new devices, but this one says "ready to use" on the screen protector and would not turn on when plugged into laptop or PC USB! Since you have to go online for the manual, this is a bit of a catch 22, but after plugging in to a 120/5V adapter it came on and is charging, I think (warm but no charge display when off...there was a very dim charging display when plugged into computer, but you'd never know without removing screen protector.) I liked the quick response of the store display and the 6" screen. It was $20 cheaper in store ($159) but there were no signs of 50 hour sale in progress.

Not clear that Foursquare App is onboard for POI.

Opened yesterday, downloaded maps, tells me memory is 97% full, buy a memory card. Doesn't come with AC charger, another $25. Can I get a refund for this?
