    I love the DriveSmart 65 GPS..but, have had several problems with this particular Garmin series--wonder if they will ever get the "bugs" worked out of it? I've had Garmin's for years but this one seems to work for a while then starts having problems.

    GPS is off by about 150’. A big problem at night.

    Great device. However, it is not accurate. It’s about 150’ off. You have to turn before the gps tells you to. I’m trying to get that resolved. It’s a problem all the time but especially at night.

    I got the GPS mainly for the Alexa and WiFi updates. But Since the last update on the GPS I’ve had noting but problems and issues with the Bluetooth connections and my iPhone X. Which is getting aggravating. For example I’ll be listening to music and it will just disconnect or when it comes back on it won’t connect to my phone like it is supposed to. Hope they get the issues figured out on it. As of right now I can’t give it a good rating. I love Garmin so the Garmin part has always been a 5 star.

      After the initial setup and pairing is complete, the DriveSmart should pair with your smartphone automatically on subsequent uses. A musical tone will play when the connection is complete. If you find this is not happening, open the Drive App on your phone. If the process does not complete within a few moments, say “Alexa.” You should see a visible indicator on the lower portion of the DriveSmart screen indicating it is connecting to Alexa, followed by the musical tone indicating the Bluetooth and internet connections are complete.

      Should you drive through an area with poor cellular reception, you may see the Drive App indicating the unit is no longer fully connected. Again, just say "Alexa" to initiate a reconnection. If the cellular signal is strong enough by then, it will reconnect. If not, the unit may indicate it is not connected to the internet. When a stronger signal is detected It will reconnect on its own, however, you can say "Alexa" to attempt the reconnection if you wish. Garmin

    ‘Haven’t used the Item: Garmin - DriveSmart 65 6.95 GPS with Amazon Alexa, yet. Otherwise, I’d give it 5 Stars.

    I have an android phone so the alexa party of the GPS doesn't work. Other than that it's good

    I tried it for a week, but along with Alexa wanting access to everything on my phone, it did not work. I asked for the Mobile gas station on Bristol Rd in Flint, MI, and it routed me to three different locations that were hundreds of miles away, without asking me before doing it. It could not find locations that I was parked in front of and the list goes on. I replaced it with the non-Alexa version and am happy with this one. I also installed the back up camera and it also works well.

    This has a beautiful screen, and pudge a wonderful buy for a consumer who will not Bluetooth to car stereo. The sound quality when it’s connected to my car sounds terrible. For the price, I would have expected a little more.

      I’m sorry about your experience with shut downs. The GPS should not reboot or power off while plugged into a vehicle. Here are a couple of ways to resolve this issue.
      • Confirm that the device is plugged directly into a vehicle with its original Garmin power cable. Using a splitter or USB cable will not work.
      • Ensure the device software is up to date. This model can be easily updated wirelessly using the built-in Wi-Fi feature. Garmin

    The screen touch function was too sensitive. The display constantly moved on it's own miles from where it should be making it impossible to follow. I returned it the same day.

    I'm finding it very difficult to use the Garmin I purchased. Hopefully, my auto GPS will be repaired and I won't have to use it.
