Didn't work for me

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.it is a good GPS as far as I was able to use it but I returned it because it would not connect to any of the devices I have since it was specifically made for iPhone or iPad. I use Android devices so I was not able to really use it to the full extent. I would recommend it if you use iPhone or iPad devices.

On the 3rd one it would re-boot itself and would not accept any more address. Sometimes it would if it was reconnected to Garmin Express. Garmin customer service didn't have any other solution but to return it for another. The second one has the same problem. Also it drained the battery just setting on the desk for about 10 days. We are really disappointed in the 2 GPS units we obtained. I hope Garmin figures out the problem and fixes it soon.

While the GPS is ready to use out of the box, we suggest checking for map and software updates that were released while the device was in transit and on the retailer’s shelf. It was the gentlemen and my experience with him. I went in with my purchase becuz I was having a hard time figuring it out. I probably wud not have made the return had he not been so rude and not helpful. In all the years I have visited this store.. never ... ever has someone been so dismissive.

It took me down roads that were closed. When I compared it to my apple map on my I phone there was no comparison. Apple Maps won hands down.
