Alert life saver

Maybe it would have lasted longer had I turned it off at nite but forgot. Expensive subscription and very short battery life. Think it's still good idea to have one of these.

We had purchased for a dual-sport trip in Moab. Had to buy another while traveling. The replacement worked great! Best Buy was awesome and the return was easy. But, make sure to give yourself plenty of time to make sure the device works prior to any trip or hike you are taking.

Monthly fees but works great

There are some features that work without it but to get the full use Garmin sucks you in to the old monthly.

Was told BB is connected w Irridium, not true. Could talk w Family, not true! Could get a Group Activation on one account, not true!

Worth the money

Very remote and virtually no cell service where I’m at. Able to send and receive text messages through the app connected via Bluetooth to Garmin in reach. Well worth the money. Enables me to stay in contact with love ones at home. A must have if you hunt in remote areas with no cell service. I also like the track back feature.
