My first watch great watch. It helps me keep track of everything that I want to keep an eye on it. Fun to have when you’re working out going to have in general.

Awesome battery life. Easily works for 20 to 25 days per charge. Good for athletes to track basic metrics.

I have a heart condition and purchased this smart watch so I could have a constant monitoring of my heart rate. It notifies me when my heart rate gets too low or too high. I enjoy the other app options it has as well of it being waterproof so I can wear it in the shower. A great smart watch.

Had a tactical, with the prior version and it was the best, had almost a 14-30hrs of battery. This version is a step back, battery life that lasts about 7days. I took it on a hike and after about 6hours it would just restart, over and over again. I’ve had the watch for about 40 days and going to return and get the previous model, for sure

I am really enjoying this watch. Moved from a Garmin Vivoactive 5. Obviously, the larger display makes reading so much easier. I have noticed that it keeps much better track of my heart rate than the Vivo 5. Not a fan of silicone bands so I have purchased a canvas band instead that matches the blue coloring. I still have a week's worth of battery life left on the initial charge so that really pleases me. It seems durable but I am pretty easy on my devices. Very comfortable to wear once I replaced the band with a shorter length and more absorbent material.

Like the look in the watch. The battery last longer due to the solar charge. I am able to track my sleep, steps and other health in the app. I did get an irregular heartbeat alert while exercising which is good to know so I can follow up with my doctor.

This was a birthday present to myself. I upgraded from an original Garmin Instinct, which I enjoyed for a couple of years. This Garmin is loaded with features that I will never use, but using it for training and running 5K and 10Ks, it is an improvement. Initial setup is done with a QR code and setting up basic functions like quiet time are a snap. I have already done many training runs and a few races and have found it to be accurate. Linking to GPS is instantaneous. The best feature (so far) is the audio giving me run time at each mile. I think this has made me run a little faster. Another feature is the watch giving suggestions prior to starting an activity. It's easy to back out of that screen, but good to know before starting a race. Although the screen is the same size as my original Instinct, I have found it a little easier to read this one, even when not wearing glasses. I am nearsighted and have a cataract forming in one eye (Medicare just kicked in, so that will be addressed soon.) This is a good looking watch as well as functional.

Very happy with this watch. I bought this as a daily watch after being tired of super smart watches with the intention of tracking steps while also having enough battery for hiking/backpacking. I'm happy to say that this has done all that and more. This has just enough smart features to keep me informed but not too much where I feel overwhelmed. The MIP display looks great and the controls work great without a touchscreen. The torch/flashlight is an added bonus. A few negatives worth mentioning is that the solar really doesn't seem that effective and the breadcrumb mapping is not the best. The solar not being effective is not a concern since I only spend a few days at a time on trail and I typically track my location via my phone for mapping so both of these issues are mitigated for me. Overall I am very happy with this device!

I upgraded from the Instinct 1 so was used to the original interface as most of the basics are the same. The added features are really cool where they’ve brought some of the training summary info from the more expensive Fenix range. The flashlight I thought was a gimmic has actually been an awesome feature I use way more than I thought I would! Solar charge is a cool feature, typically getting a few weeks per charge and I run every other day.
