Really good portable system
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this in place of paying $300 to up-date the built-in GPS that came with my wife's SUV, I use an older one and I love the features such as lane indicators and the insets that actually show many route exits. Free lifetime map up-dates and traffic avoidance are great extra benefits. It would be nice if you had options on the saved place markers that you can create instead of the only one they offer, otherwise it is a great piece of technology.

Love this new Garmin !

I figured since it was 7 years old anyway, it was time for an upgrade. The screen is easy to see in bright sunlight, and the onscreen buttons are larger and easier to use. I've seen some folks complain about it mis-routing but if you take the time to set it up correctly, the unit will take you the fastest route every time.

Great Product

I am completely satisfied with this purchase. I really like the way it says "arriving at your destination on the left/right" It took some time to get the favorites saved. The only thing I miss from my TOM TOM is the favorites are listed in alphabetical order. I also miss the red light camera notices, so I guess I will not be running red lights.
