It's more user friendly than my old Garmin. The screen is still really easy to read and the resolution is better. As a real estate professional I use it a lot for those "last few turns"!

Wouldn't travel without a GPS unit. Especially handy to mark locations you want to visit at a later time. On a slower internet connection map updates may take several hours.

this model is much better than my old one. the split screen feature is very helpful. the lifetime maps should be a bemefit as the price to update a unit is almost as much as the 2557

i use it alot, even when i know where i am going. wish it had a key for alternate routes after you get it set up. other then that, i love using it.

Got this for my recent trip to Florida and just love the 3D feature. I also enjoyed the feature of locating the last parking location. It helped us a lot in locating our villa in the resort.

We like our newest Garmin very much. Love that it is updateable, so it keeps up with the road changes & traffic pattern changes. Plus graphics are much clearer. Great product

I was looking for a GPS that would be easy to use as well as a good value. In addition, I wanted to be able to choose different directions from the beginning (i.e. no highways, shorter distance, quicker, etc.) if this has it I have not been able to find it. This GPS is adequate and will provide me with directions.

I love the product. Categories are a great feature. The only downside I have seen is the maps don't reflect the new routing on the interstates around the Dallas/Fort Worth areas.

It is great ! But sometimes , the name of the street has to be the way garmin has in its "memory " For instance 51 Road could not be found . Because in its system it is 51 Rd.

The unit is very up to date and the maps are easy to read! The setup is a little cumbersome and not absolutely user friendly for the electronically challenged individual! :-)

I love the screen and the real time traffic. A little too difficult mounting it on the stand

Good GPS, however it is hard to modify the route while driving. It should be easier to change the route if one wants to reduce the travel time. Takes some time to find delays.

Out of 5 stars, I'd give this a 2.5. Not particularly easy to use, not very intuitive. Restaurant suggestions were not close by and not helpful. Directions are okay for highway use, but once you get to surface streets looking for your destination, this device just plain gives incorrect directions.

I love that it shows the exits in a dual screen. It makes it much easier. I love the different voices you can download. The squirrel had us cracking up on our last road trip.

This was a great choice for us. We were on a roadtrip to Canada and this worked perfect off road and excellent with choices of routes

This is the fastest processor we've encountered. If you miss an exit or decide to take a slightly different turn it recalculates within just 4 to 5 seconds.

This is our second Garmin and it is a great improvement over our first one. It has a better screen, gives us more information and loads much faster than our first one

I had a Garmin GPS from years ago and decided I'd upgrade to a new one with unlimited map upgrades. Just took it on a long vacation and it worked great. Very pleased.

This unit was very helpful during recent auto trips to Chicago and St. Louis. Very helpful to hear vocal instructions while driving in heavy traffic.
